The day was nice enough, even if it was a bit on the cloudy side. Nice enough to be outside with a book he picked up over summer vacation and just now had the opportunity to start reading. It was a sort of mindless book, but it was entertaining. He'd gotten a good way through it after a while of sitting on one of the benches. Naturally, he'd done so after changing out of the clothes he wore for Opposite day.

Casey knew dinner was approaching soon enough. Truth be told, his stomach knew more than he did. He was in the middle of an amusing list the first time his stomach grumbled slightly. So he dug out the already half-eaten bag of M&Ms from his pocket, kept the book open with one hand, and headed off casually towards Beauregard. The downside of reading while walking was that you really couldn't see where you were going.
