Characters: Anyone and Everyone. This party is not low key and it's probably been topic of conversation. Charlie's parties are annual and pretty ridiculous. Setting: Friday, 3rd Sept. The woods, near enough to the school to be easily accessable but far enougha way not to get busted. Rating: It's a party soI'm gunna say NSFW and beyond. Summary: It's Charlie's birthday! He's throwing a party complete with everything a young delinquent would need. He doesn't care who comes as long as you have fun. Charlie had skipped dinner to get everything set up for the party. Every year he held the party, a joint birthday and welcome back celebration, and every year he liked to choose somewhere a little different, just to keep any snooping teachers on their toes. The clearing in the wood he'd settled for was large, with trees surrounding it. It had to be reached on foot, it was safer that way. Charlie didn't do things by halves when it came to having a good time, there was a keg with cheap beer, a very special, yes dubious bottle of 'cannabis vodka' and Charlie's pride and joy, an armful of fireworks he had lovingly procured from a buddy back in San Fran. It was perfect. Sitting on a log, Charlie took out a cigarette and lit it as he surveyed his handy work proudly. Kids would probably be arriving soon. Charlie messed with his hair one last time and waited for the party to start. ooc: Everyone is welcome to the party, regardless if they know Charlie very well or not. Tag your kids as they enter the party!Tags: !event, aune walkky, casey rycroft, charles oliver, erica redd, francios prideaux, jennifer parry, jessica sommer, keegan howe, leon shaw, meka palakiko, michiko passos, quinn van rensselaer, shelby ginnish, sol garcia, tatum donnelly, vincenzo ciccarelli

Adelaide/Charlie
|
Charlie had been about to thank Adelaide, or say hello or something, but just ended up blinking and processing what she had just said. "What? You do what?" he asked slowly, registering the gift and taking it. "Shit, you didn't have to" he muttered, grinning and ripping the envelope open. Reading the IOU, not really getting it he just laughed, tucking it into his pocket.
"Thanks" he added, stubbing the cigarette out and motioning to his array of party items. "Drink? Smoke? I'd offer you a firework but I'm waiting til it gets dark, you know?"

Jenny/Charlie
|
Jenny had no intention of staying late, and she didn't plan to show up late either. She was one of the first ten or so people to trickle into the clearing. She glanced around to see who was there, other than Charlie, someone to kill some time with. She didn't want to just run up and hand him a present right away, she'd look desperate, not to mention stupid. She had already felt stupid enough lately with everything with Sera, and that was bad enough. She'd even found herself looking around for Quinn, which was a whole other can of worms so to speak.
But pushing those problems away, Jenny took a deep breath, trying to pump herself up for the night. If she came, she might as well have fun with it. Probably Ella would show up later, she wouldn't miss a party, and then Jenny figured she could just align herself with her sister's side for the remainder of the night.. or hopefully so.
Finally giving up on appearing casual and nonchalant, the blonde shifted the paper bag she was holding in her arms, noticing that Charlie was alone for a moment, no longer distracted with greeting party arrivals. She sighed gently, moving her way over, weaving past a group of girls splitting up a case of beer. She held the bag out to Charlie when she reached him, a dismissive look on her face with a hint of a smile. She held the bag as if it were paining her to do so, nudging it at him.
"Here, happy birthday," she said simply.

Bekka didn't exactly realize it was late until it was well, late. True to the steryotype of her house she had been sitting at her make-shift desk (as the proper one was still covered in spread sheets) trying to get ahead on her homework before it was, in some cases, assigned. By the time she remembered that there was both a party that night and who it was for, there wasn't a kitten's chance in All Dogs Go to Heaven for her to go and buy Charlie a gift in time. Instead dressed in what she assumed was decent attire she tried to slip in the back of the rather intoxicated crowd. So far no one was dead, that was always a good sign...

It felt a little weird to Tatum that she had been back for such a short time at school, and she was already getting ready to go to a party. Single life had been so different; they partied, she stayed home. But now, she often found herself almost excited for parties, for getting ready, picking the right outfit, and going out with Frankie for the night. It was pretty much better than staying in and playing WoW for the entire evening. Tonight was an even better event, since it was Charlie's birthday; not only was it guaranteed to be crazy, but going to his party was less taxing on her than any other party. She knew Charlie, at least on a need-to-know basis, and that made it so much less stressful. She had visited him a couple of days before, getting everything she needed for the night. She and Frankie had arrived around eight, and mingled around slightly. Tatum had tried a little bit of the hard lemonade she brought, and had already gone through two cups of it before nine came around. She was content though, a little buzzed, and just enjoying herself. She saw a few people close by that she recognized, but decided she had other plans in mind. Pulling Frankie's hand gently, she pulled her girlfriend off to the side a bit, away from where most of the party goers were clustered. It was closer to the edge, shaded under some shorter trees, and Tatum ducked just a bit as they moved further back from the crowd. "I got something special for tonight," she informed the brunette finally, grinning at her. "Better than the blackberry kush even," she added, giving Frankie's side a little poke, always enjoying teasing her, but especially so when they had been drinking.

Erica had spent the majority of her night so far seated comfortably in the lap of a junior boy that she didn't quite catch the name of. In fact, she hadn't really caught much about him, but that was no matter. He had a bag of ice, and a bottle of ruby red grapefruit vodka. He had filled her cup, and she had drank, and they had enjoyed their time together. Brief so it was, as Erica quickly tired of him. Collecting the bottle from him, she had left him with a kiss on his cheek before wandering off again, looking for something more interesting to do. People were everywhere, crowded into the clearing like sardines, and Erica navigated amongst them as best she could, until she came upon a spot without so many bodies. She settled there, sitting with her back against a tree trunk, and the bottle of vodka held between her knees, just watching.

Hunter had been here for hours, playing the social game, and making herself known. She had flitted all over the place, spoken to everybody, been in a couple of drinking challenges, and had all but finished her entire twelve pack of beer that she had brought with her. Somewhere between talking to someone about how she was going for captain this year, and ending up where she sat now in the clearing, the beer had been demolished. She felt it, but it still seemed surreal. The only thing else she had brought with her was a large bottle of pink champagne: birthday parties always needed champagne, it was just classy. She had intended to share with people, Mari in particular, but she had forgotten along the way. Now it was late, and there was no one around except herself and the other curfew breakers, and she had a whole bottle of champagne to herself. Figuring that letting it go to waste would be a shame, Hunter stumbled her way over to where there were some plastic wine glasses on top of a cooler. They had been used, but Hunter shrugged it off, shaking it a bit to get rid of the excess liquor left in the bottom. Shaking the champagne just a bit, she gave the top a twist, and an explosion of foam sprayed forth from the bottle neck, splattering onto the grassy ground in front of her. "Fuck yeah," she said simply, picking up her dirty plastic wine glass again, and beginning to pour the champagne into it.

Sim/Open
|
On all accounts, the party had been a great success. There had been the usual successes like touching a sophomore girl's boob, accidentally punching Gray in the eye and practicing wrestling moves on Freshmen. Sim was quite happy with himself as he walked the length of the clearing, drinking his Sailor Jerry and nodding at any hot girl's he stumbled into. Earlier on this evening, Sim had been kind enough to share his energy shots with the rest of the school, via a secret operation to spike the punch bowl. Hey, if anyone was stupid enough to drink from the punch bowl they deserved to be wide awake 'til Sunday. As he was congratulating himself on job well done, Sim's foot connected with something hard and heavy on the ground. Uncovering a sheet with his foot, Sim almost cried, for it was beautiful. A pile of fireworks. Firecrackers, rockets, sparklers and what looked like a hand-held flare. Without wasting a moment, Sim grabbed handfulls of the treasure and made for the edge of the clearing. Better just to test them out, and everything. Sticking a rocket in the ground, Sim clumsily lit the fuse, it took several tries, apparently crouching whilst drunk is a hard task. Standing next to the firework, his face lit up gleefully by the fuse, Sim stumbled back as a massive whistling noise filled the party. As the rocket shot off it surprised Sim enough that he fell flat on his butt, staring in amazement as it sailed into the air and exploded with a bang. With one hand checking his eyebrows were still there, Sim pointed up to the sky and shouted at the person next to him. "Did you see that?" He asked excitedly, getting to his feet and reaching for another.
