We will be following HP canon on this one, a bit. Prefects will be able to deduct house points - they are, however, not allowed to deduct from other prefects nor can they award points.

Not that we think you will, but to be fair to any prefect players in the future, all point deductions must be cleared through the mods before they will be taken into account in the point tallies.
