The City of Angels (Open)
Los Angeles was the City of Angels, but Sersi was far from being an angel. There may have been one point in history where her people were mistaken for angels, but Sersi would never claim to be one or otherwise pretend. Angels seemed like the stuffy type and Sersi couldn't abide stuffy.

Sersi loved the lights and glitter of LA. It was her kind of town. So was New York, Tokyo, Paris and a few others, but each one had a special feel to it. LA was no different. The feel and energy of the city was like no other.

She had only come to town for a weekend, but now it had been six months. She just didn't see a reason to leave just yet. Money wasn't an issue when you could create your own and Sersi wasn't quite done shopping. Right now, however, she was sitting in an outdoor cafe and enjoying a double espresso.

Another Los Angeles resident is enjoying a beverage at that same cafe as he reads the paper and tries to avoid looking up to give the paparazzi guy that's been stalking him all morning a good shot that he can sell to the papers.

Simon Williams sometimes thinks that it would be a much better idea to just to fry the camera for a laugh, but he has a reputation to uphold. He can't really afford anymore negative publicity, either, since he'd spoken out about the whole Civil War thing, against may of his former friends.

Of course, people are now starting to gather near his table, and one of them might even be encroaching on Sersi's personal space to get a look at Simon.

	Sersi didn't want to be bothered at the moment and the people encroaching upon her space were starting to annoy her. She smiled and one by one she ordered them elsewhere. It was just a gentle nudge with her mind and they suddenly remembered they needed to be somewhere else. She kept doing it until they were all gone. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	When the group thins out, seemingly of it's own accord, Simon breathes a sigh of relief. He hated it when he got in the way of other people's relaxation. He smiled at the woman at the next table and went back to reading the paper. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Simon grins down at his paper. The voice gives her away immediately, confirming what he already knew. There were few women in the world that left such an instant impression and Sersi was the first among them.

He looks up from his paper again and smiles at her. "If I say no, does that mean you'll try to jog my memory? Because the doctor says I need the help of beautiful women to remember things. Until you arrived, there wasn't worth much remembering." Simon says.

Then he bursts out laughing.

"Please don't hit me. That line is in a script I'm looking over. You think I should turn it down?"

	He picks up his things and joins her at her table and greets her with a hug. "Let me guess. You're in LA because you're finally taking my advice and becoming an actress?
