Maynard James Keenan (born April 17, 1964 as James Herbert Keenan) is an American rock singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. He has been a member of the bands Tool since 1990, A Perfect Circle since 1999, and Puscifer since 2003. He is also a winemaker and owns Merkin Vineyards and Caduceus Cellar.
