Order -- dated for after the patronus?
James rapped his fingers quickly on the counter of the bar, watching the doorway as the Order members slowly trickled in. He knew it was the middle of the bloody day and people were at work and couldn't just up and leave, but seeing as the Order had a bit of a reputation of being jobless members of society, James had become accustomed to immediate reactions.

And he was fucking pissed off, so his patience was running very, very thin.

He'd been angry about the M.A.G.I.C. Act, he had been furious, but for the most part, James had kept a level head so that Lily didn't completely lose her mind. He was being a good spouse that way, remaining calm and giving some sort of clear point of view, but fuck if he could continue doing that. There was no way he would allow his wife to live in some complex that would most likely be guarded by death eaters that had infiltrated the ministry, while the rest of her rights as a witch were being stripped away and---he and Lily already had a target on their back, and sticking her in a place where they knew your every bloody mood--

His head snapped up as someone slid onto the seat beside him, and James let out a strong breath from his nose, looking back down. The wards on the bar made any visitor who wasn't in the Order turn away with the thought of missing a healer appointment, so James felt no worry in blurting,

"I'm ready to fucking kill someone."

Remus sat next to James, but only so that he would be able to stop him from attacking anyone else in the room. Which wasn't that full yet, so really, sitting next to his friend in his state perhaps wasn't the smartest of moves. But... alright, Remus knew that something was going to happen, or be said, that would blow James' lid off, and-- yes. For the greater good, because if he was able to stop James quickly, then Sirius wouldn't be able to react fast enough to back him up so---

So yes, in a way he was protecting the Order from James Potter. At least that was something, more than he had been able to do for the Order in a few weeks.

"Try to hold back," Remus muttered in a low tone, looking down at his hands. Luckily for him, it was easy to take a long lunch break around anytime during the day just as long as the musem was clean every couple of hours, so coming quickly hadn't been an issue. Though it seemed like they were going to be here for a while; James had managed to clean out the entire pub and had his angry face on. Everyone should really know not to delay when it came to the angry face.

Remus was the only Marauder that had ever been able to hold James back, and even then--he had managed to become an illegal animagus behind his back, right? James knew that he was only trying to help, but being told to hold back, that he shouldn't be having murderous thoughts, managed to make his blood heat up even more.

"Holding back and playing nice hasn't exactly been working out for us, Moony," James let out quickly, his voice low as his eyes scanned the room. No, not after they'd taken Marlie from them, James honestly felt no reason in keeping quiet and doing things as secretly as possible. He wanted to make it loud and clear to the ministry that they were going to regret trying to do this to them and--

James pressed hard into the bar, taking a few more deep breaths. He had no idea what they were going to do, but it had to be done now.
