Patrick! (November 1981)
Oh, oh, oooh.

She hadn't wanted to say anything until she was absolutely sure, but with Emily standing over her and awkwardly 'holding mommy's hair while she creatively processed her breakfast', Patrick wasn't going to be able to be kept in the dark for much longer. She had just managed to get things in order for the pregnancy test potion before she'd gotten sick.

Patrick was still asleep, naturally, and Emily had wanted to come in and help her mommy with the problem she was having.

"Uuugh," she groaned, resting her forehead against the toilet seat and suddenly wondering if children weren't a slightly-less-useful version of those house elves that all the purebloods raved about. Even though her stomach was churning and she was not at all feeling well, she couldn't help but almost hope the test was positive. It wasn't as if -- well, she'd stopped taking the potion (with Patrick's knowledge, of course) a few months ago, because they'd decided that if children happened it wouldn't be terrible.

After all, nothing could be worse than her first pregnancy's circumstances, right?

The potion started to fizz and bubble a bright orange colour, and Lyssandra couldn't hide her grin ... until Emily managed to get her tiny fingers around the vial and attempt to drink it.

Lyssandra squeaked, immediately grabbing for the potion and spilling most of its contents on both of them.

Merlin, she hoped this stuff wasn't toxic.

Halloween Party (for Saturday!)! Everyone!
Halloween was her favorite day of the year, outside of her birthday. And Christmas. And Valentine's Day! It was still pretty up there, considering that there were 365 days in the bloody year! Liz couldn't handle the excitement, whether it be from dressing Katie up in adorable little outfits (plural, because she simply could not pick one obnoxiously cute costume for her daughter) or doing her hair or making Ian dress up and the candy!

Ohhhh, the candy.

It was probably not a good idea to be on a full blown sugar rush when you left for a big party like this, but her fans (she had FANS!) were used to her rapid paced talk! So this should be the norm for everyone, because Liz Bell was a show stopper! The red carpet was sooo much fun, and the Bells were just sofreakinggoodlooking so why would the cameras not flash at them and sigh.

Halloween was the best ever.

"How are my buns?" she asked without looking up, unsure if she had wandered away from her husband or not. There were so many pretty costumes and lights and shiny things...it really wasn't her fault if she'd gotten lost in the crowd.

[Patrick!]
Lyssandra was in a bit of a tizzy. Was it really HER fault that both her female best friend (Adelaide) and her male best friend (well, ONE of them) were STILL IN THE HOSPITAL while she had escaped relatively unscathed? It wasn't as if she was in the mood to just sit in the Observatory Gift shop twiddling her thumbs and waiting for them to wake up -- so she was doing what she thought was best and bringing her little girl to visit Pri and Adelaide.

That was where she was on her way to now with Emily. Thankfully, the girl was asleep soundly in her snuggly and didn't look to be ready to wake up anytime soon - perhaps her mere presence would coax Pri out of his slumber.

Barring that, she'd just have to start lecturing him about how he had a wife and two lovely girls of his own to take care of. She supposed that she should also check up on Santiago and Richie while she was here. She furrowed her brows, stepping out into yet another hall.

"This place is so bloody confusing," she muttered to herself, barely looking where she was going (having a child had apparently not gotten rid of her stubborn refusal to observe proper directional etiquette).

DIAGON ALLEY, EARTHQUAKE
"And you know what? There is not a sale worth going out in this heat, I'm serious!"

Javier grinned, putting up his hands in a defensive manner, "I'm sorry, but I don't need a pair of robes that badly, have you seen those temperatures? I'm surprised Fortescue's is still standing, would've thought they'd have melted awaaaaaay----whoa, what is---"

He gripped onto the desk, eyes widening as he rumbled and rolled away because the fucking building was shaking! Javier let out numerous words that were not politically correct to say on the wireless, and toppled out of his chair, busting his head on the floor. Strings of angry Spanish soared out of his mouth as he crawled up to his knees, and Javier grabbed the microphone.

Through the glass he saw that the other members of his staff were looking like they'd just been shot, and it took Javier a few good seconds to realize what the fuck happened, as another rumbling, rolling coursed through the studio. Javier dropped to the ground, covering his head with his hand as he shouted angrily into the microphone:

"ARE WE EXPERIENCING A FUCKING EARTHQUAKE IN DIAGON ALLEY?"

Friends and Family!
It felt so very good to be a married man.

Santiago grinned from his seat at the head table, trying to suppress his confusion at Seymour's banjo ballad. He had no idea why he thought it would be a good idea to tell his friend he'd have a moment of spotlight at the reception, but...at least it had its memories.

He wanted to feel bad that it wasn't a traditional wizarding wedding ceremony, but who was he kidding? Santiago was raised in the Catholic church, he'd never pictured his own to be anything different and---even though it had ruined a lot of their initial plans, he couldn't be happier with the day.

Mostly because of the beautiful bride he was currently gripping hands with.

He leaned over to Jolene and smiled widely, sure that he managed to show off all of his teeth. It was remarkable; Santiago never thought he'd love someone as much as he did Jolene, and she managed to sweep him off his feet in--if he wanted to be honest, that first day in St. Mungo's. When she was looking ill and sickly and still managed to make his heart jump and flip and tie his stomach into knots? Well. Deus, it was perfect.

"It was not that bad, yes?" he said, amused with the light and awkward applause Seymour had received.

[Tadhg!]
All right, so the healers had told her that there she was eventually going to experience mood swing. That wasn't the problem. The problem was that she experienced mood swings before she was pregnant ... so the ones that she was finally getting to now were downright nasty.

Despite the fact that she'd been having a perfectly nice dinner with Tadhg, halfway through it she'd started to think about the fact that Waldo hadn't even made an attempt to contact her about how the baby was doing in a long arse time and she'd started to become irritated by that thought. By the end of their meal she'd fallen silent and was very obviously irked (although she hadn't said a word to Tadhg about why). She'd headed into the living room scowling and dropped onto the couch to listen to the wireless, arms crossed over her chest. Merlin, they could practically rest on her belly. All right, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, but still.

[Awwwkward.]
After everything that had been going on for the past few months, Lyssandra Eberlee had been sure that nothing could possibly make her life more awkward than it already was. Of course, that was before Tadhg had owled her again. He always did have a habit of messaging her at the worst possible times.

Then again, everything about them had always revolved around bad timing. When she was interested in him, he wasn't interested in her, when he was interested in her, she wasn't interested in him -- and when they did happen to line up their affections, he either got 'too busy' with Quidditch or ended up in some fan's pants. Things had never been ideal for Tadhg and herself.

Now was no exception. She paced in front of the mirror and ruffled her hair once more, trying to get it to look presentable. Damnit, why was it that she cared again?

Probably because he was one of the few people outside of her circle of Healer friends that had gotten close to her for a long period of time. When she heard the knock at the door, she cleared her throat and let out a quiet, "Fuck."

[Santiago]
All right, so she hadn't exactly meant to show up at Santiago's door, but when she'd apparated that's where she'd ended up. Right, that was her story and she was sticking to it. It wasn't like she couldn't go to Richard or to Priyaranjan, but Santiago seemed like he'd at least be the most sensitive about it even if he was the one who'd probably take it the worst.

Maybe that was the reason she wanted to tell him first -- just to get it over with. Besides, she had a sneaking suspicion that the other two boys already knew one way or another -- Richard was a sneaky bastard sometimes. She frowned, rubbing her hand over her face once more (Merlin, she was puffy and red and disgusting) before she lifted her hand up to knock. Lyssandra wasn't exactly sure what she was planning on saying once Santiago (if, if) Santiago answered the door, but it had to be better than freaking out privately.
