Remy Morestein was the second child of a middle class Miami, Florida, and as the baby and only daughter she was coddled and spoiled. The epitome of a Jewish American Princess, she followed her brother around, annoying him mercilessly while she lamented her school uniform and her desire for Juicy Couture sweatsuits. She dreamed big of finding herself a great place once she graduated NYU and became a plastic surgeon. Turned out that Remy didn't exactly have the brains for becoming a doctor let alone a surgeon and law was boring. She figured this all out by the time she was fourteen and she was right on time because once she was fifteen her brilliant older brother had landed himself the green light to make a movie that was never destined to be a wild money maker but would be a cult classic and would launch Remy into her own acting career. After incessant nagging and pleading, Remy was given a role in Wet Hot American Summer as the sex starved camp sweetheart, Katie.

Maybe she wasn't good at math or chemistry but networking was Remy's specialty and she wasted no time making friends in high places while she was given a lucky break by her brother. She started to go to dinner and drink with what would be the next generation of comedy in the states and she was just barely 16. Tiny roles and voice work followed, as well as a private tutor until Remy was 18 and could legally say fuck school like she had always intended to. No sooner did she do that then she was given a role in another cult classic which happened to be more profitable than her first film pursuit, Mean Girls. Against her brother and parents' advice she took her first major lead role in Sin City playing a stripper and regretted it greatly when all was said and done. Remy didn't want to be a sex symbol or to be seen on a huge screen with her ass cheeks hanging out of her pants for all to see. Even if she was not doctor material she knew she was not going to become an icon or anyone worth respecting if all she was known for was taking off her clothes. She at least needed to be funny while taking off her clothes. Only a few people could do that. Any good looking girl could get naked. She resolved to only take comedic roles from that point on. Clothing could come off, sex was allowed but it had to be funny or it was a no sell.

She made good on half of her plans, well more like 3/4ths. She moved to New York where she could be as big a lush as she wanted, as much of a party girl as she wanted to be with no fear of running some poor pedestrian down in LA. She also only took comedic roles just as she promised herself. So all she was missing was a Juicy Couture sweatsuit but she figured she could live with that. More work followed, often at the hand of her brother speaking highly of her or arranging for her to take roles in his own movies. After her role in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Remy finally broke through and became a household name. She was America's lewd, rude, funny girl, and it suited her. Frequently playing the female love interests in comedies, Remy has been working steadily for the past ten years but truly broke through only five years ago.

Even though she has made it clear she has no interest being a role model to younger girls she seems to have unintentionally garnered a fair amount of clout among teen girls for keeping her image both snappy and sexy.
