about a girl
From the minute Hana Lee was born into the world, she had a smile that could light up any room. Her parents were blessed with their beautiful baby girl four years after their first born, Han Lee Jr. She was raised to be one of the most optimistic girls in the neighborhood. Everyone knew of her just by her uncanny smile, and her ever so long hair. They knew she was destined for greatness, and with her parent's help, she was sure to rise above the world in no time.
However, dreams were soon put on halt when she was thirteen years old. On the way home from Hana's eighth grade school play late one Friday evening, it began to rain heavily. It was so bad that it was quite hard to see through the windshield, and before they knew it, all Hana could see from the back seat with her brother were bright lights, and a blaring horn sounding throughout the entire vehicle. Hana doesn't remember anything that happened other than that. All she knows is that she woke up in the hospital with her brother at her side, soon telling her the news that their parents didn't make it. The fact that they were both still even alive was a miracle in itself, which Hana is eternally grateful for.
Hana's parents used to own one of Georgia's top-selling flower shops called Hannah's Flower Shop. There was a slight coincidence that their daughter's name was Hana, as she was soon receiving news that once she was legal, the shop was in her hands to run. She used to spend every day at the shop after school when her parents were alive, and customers often referred to her as "Hannah". The older she got, the more the nickname stuck with her.
She never went to college, though if she did, she would most likely be majoring in fashion merchandising and design. Her dream is to become a fashion designer, and she's currently saving up all of her money from the flower shop so that she can take that dream to the next level.
Building a close relationship with her brother, the two are practically like best friends. He protects her, she'd do anything for him if he asked. There is no bond like theirs, and it is often admired by others just because they never fight or argue, they just tolerate each other in the most loving of ways. He had to basically take care of her after the accident, and because of that, they just grew to understand the meaning of family so much more than ever before.
Hana's personality changes depending on where she is and who she is around. If she is in a working atmosphere, she is the most serious person you'll ever see, but she is also one of the most positive, outgoing people you'll ever meet as well. She loves helping others, even when she is not working, and she'd do anything to brighten someone's day, which is why she is always smiling. When she is home or out with friends, it's almost like she is a completely different person. Her attire is different, her attitude is still the same, but she acts much more childish than when she is working.
She hasn't been able to keep a stable relationship because of her positive attitude. The thought of having a boyfriend brings her down because she really feels like she will never be good enough for someone romantically, and that she will always push them away. Deep down, she knows that there's got to be someone out there who will accept her for who she is. Right? There's just got to be.
Soon to be 25, Hana has kept the family business running smoother than ever, its ranking being in the top three highest selling flower shops in Georgia. While she has daily regulars, she is always meeting someone new and the fact that she can sell flowers to people and see the smiles of the satisfaction of others is really what makes her day complete. Every day, in her opinion, is worthy of at least one smile, whether you are giving it to someone, or someone is giving it to you.

personality/appearance
Hana Lee is the kind of girl that always keeps you guessing. Upon first glance, you'll notice that she gives off an aura that is warm and sweet. She loves to smile and bring happiness to others, which is party why she took over the family business of running one of the most well-known flower shops in all of Georgia. When she's working, she is often very focused on whatever it is that she's working on. She takes her work seriously and rarely ever takes a break. When in the flower shop, she doesn't dress too conservatively, as she likes to be comfortable working with plants and flowers. Hana often wears dresses and matching heels or jeans and a shirt with the shop's logo on it. Her hair is always styled nicely, whether in braids or just down and curled or straight. Not only is she occupied with the flower shop, but the reason she is working so hard in the flower shop is to save money to take the next step with designing her own clothes. Designing is something she does in her spare time, and it helps to take her mind off of the stress of her busy schedule. Working with her friends on the designing project, they are often the ones who see the more serious side of her. When she is designing and looking over proofs and working on photo shoots, she is dressed stylishly to the nines, not one thing out of place.
She is, however, quite different when she is not in a working atmosphere. Around the people that know her most, or when she is alone at home, her entire persona changes from a beautiful, put-together working woman to a nerdy, laid back and lazy girl. When she is not working, she is dancing around in her apartment with an oversized t-shirt and sweatpants with a pair of glasses on her nose and her hair pulled up into a high bun on the top of her head. She isn't messy, per se, but she certainly makes you look twice when you run into her dressed that way, if you're lucky enough to have the opportunity, that is. In this specific moment, Hana is loud, obnoxious, she makes cute facial expressions constantly and she can be quite clumsy despite her balanced posture during work. She is almost like a walking contradiction, though she sees nothing wrong with it, except when she is hiding her 'true, normal' self from new people that she meets.
All around, Hana is a sweet girl. She wants nothing more than to bring happiness to others. No matter how stressed she is, she always wears a smile on her face. Her attitude is always positive, as she hates focusing on the negative aspects of things, especially since her parent's death when she was younger. She tries not to think about it much, as it tends to bring back old memories and that never seems to end well with Hana. It took her long enough to get over what happened, and much of the help she got was from her older brother. Both of them are like best friends. He takes care of her and watches out for her, protecting her whenever she may need it, and she is basically just that ray of sunshine in his life. They get along perfectly, even in her crazy little atmosphere when she's alone. He is probably one of the only people who sees the true her, though he never tells her she should change. If anything, he wants her to show that side more often, as "more people will probably stick around longer if you do."
Hana has not had a boyfriend in a few years, as she tends to get awkward in more ways than one when she's around someone she finds attractive. They enver seem to stick around long enough to get to know her well, and it often leaves her feeling quite down. Because of this, she tries to stray away from attempting anything past a greeting or small conversation with them. Some days, however, she just cannot help but wonder if someone out there will ever really try to get to know her down to her core and appreciate every part of who she is.
