NAME; Baelyn Eloise Gray
AGE/DOB; 17. December 24, 1992.
THE NADIA; european foreign exchange student who’s very experienced sexually While Baelyn hails from Russia, accent still thick and in tact, she's far from promiscuous. In fact, Baelyn's a virgin--strict rules were enforced before coming to America, and since the move, her fear of making a bad name for herself keeps her far away from boys.
has a thing for geeky guys There's no judgement on her end when it comes to the opposite sex, but she's found a preference in buff guys that play sports. Girls on the other hand...
walks around topless in the girls’ locker room Overseas, all of her friends and family were very appreciative of the human body, and a woman's body is a very sacred thing. There was no shame in nudity, so when it came time to changing into a gym uniform, Bae saw no harm in baring everything for her peers to see. She didn't even think twice about the double takes.

SURVEY;

alright, big shot, you live in southampton, who are you and what do mommy and daddy do that you can afford to live here? I'm Baelyn Gray and I just moved to America from Kazan, which is in Russia. Back home, my mother was a surgeon, mostly involving herself with the pediatric cases. My...father, I suppose you'd call him that. Well, he produces records here in New York and he takes care of my mother and I. For now, my mother is just a "trophy", Daniel lovingly calls her that, but I think it's quite degrading.
is that so? what kind of car do you drive and how much did it set you back? Unfortunately, I don't have my license quite yet. My driver takes me to school every day, but Daniel keeps telling me to scope things out, and he ever so adoringly keeps nudging me towards a Lambo, but I've got my eye on a red 2011 BMW 128 i, which is around 40k.
there are two types of people in this school, backstabbers and those who take the knife, which are you and how do you know that? I don't really know anyone well enough to backstab, and karma's a bitch. Remember that.
nice clothes, fancy cars, houses the rest of the island would die for... what's your favorite part of living here and why? You already nailed it on the head...the clothes. I always had nice clothing in Kazan, but there's just so much...more here. America does it big, and New York's fashion? Aye.
tell us about the most scandalous thing that you've ever had happen, no passing. Does a lady ever tell? I haven't delved into the scandalous side of things here yet. I'm actually a lot more innocent than you think.
where are you at a party? center of attention? holed up in a bedroom with that fox on the football team? what? The outskirts. Scoping, I'm calling it. I need to get a feel for everything and everyone before I can let myself shine.
would you say people had to watch out for you? why or why not? For now? No, but I'm still new. Scoping, remember? I could very well be on top in a short while.
what are you planning to do with your life after graduation? not all of us can be washed up heiresses, you know? Truthfully? I'm very unsure right now. America's nice, but I hope to return home. When I get there? University is a huge possibility, but I'm unsure of what to study there.
what are your favorite movies and songs right now? why? Oh! I've been so stuck on every single song by Florence and the Machine. Her voice is so eerie and haunting, I just can't get enough. I think 'Cosmic Love' is my favorite. I'm not much of a movie fan, though, if you want honesty. There's something so strange about the cinema.
tell us about how you cope when bad things happen to you. I don't. Not in that weird sort of way that keeps everything bottled up, but I'm a pretty tough cookie--that's the saying, right? Which doesn't make sense...cookies crumble in milk, yeah? Anyway, I just don't let things bother me and I suck it up and move forward. I very much like it that way, too.
what are you into? be honest, we know a lot of you are more wild than you let on. A lady never tells.
what are you going to be remembered for after you leave school? Aha, oh no...I'm the foreign girl that showed it all off. How embarrassing!

FACTS;

• It's a secret to all of her friends, but Baelyn's mother is a mail order bride. There's chemistry between Daniel Gray and her, but they didn't meet in the way that Baelyn has described it as. To prevent anyone digging any dirt on her, Baelyn even changed her name upon coming to America. Her real name? Dunya Rasia.

• Baelyn is very timid...for now. In school back home, she was on a very different level in the social hierarchy, but she's taking the move as a challenge. Most people think her English is poor and that's why she's so quiet. Truthfully, she's just listening in and trying to mentally build a platform for herself to stand on.

• She only listens to one musical group since coming to the US. Florence & the Machine is her absolute favorite and everything on the radio and in between sounds like garbage, which her music producer stepfather is very displeased with. Oh, and she's developed a hankering for the Grey's Anatomy soundtracks.

• Has a love for all things ballet. As of now, her ballet slippers are packed away and in the very depths of her closet. She's still finding a place for herself in the new city, and is afraid she won't be up to par with all the well trained dancers.

• Is a virgin. Baelyn's never even kissed a boy, and at this point, is far too terrified to do so. In Kazan, her ice queen status kept boys in fear. Now, there are plenty of boys hanging around her locker, but the advancement towards her is utterly terrifying.

• One of her favorite pastimes is cruising TUMBLR.COM for random amusement. A lot of the time, she winds up searching for pictures of food because she's, more often than not, found herself stunned at the artistry that can go into something so seemingly simple.

• The only TV she watched for weeks upon coming to America this past summer was Grey's Anatomy. Which, of course, played into the story of her mother being a surgeon. With that, Bae is a Wikipedia addict and researches everything. Not only to learn in an easy fashion, but to keep up with all of the lies she's made for herself from the embarrassment.

• Overall, the Russian-born teenager is very content with her life. She's not a mean girl, but she's very distant and brooding. She's happy, but thus far, remains at the corner lunch table to people watch. Some find it weird, some find it endearing, but she's convinced that it's only because of her accent and exotic features. It's all part of her own human social experiment, however, and she's interested in watching every jaw drop when she finally comes into her own.
