first and foremost ~fatales is a game which revolves around the lives of workers (albeit, high priced) in the sex industry. As such, and while not the entire focus of the game, there will be adult themes present. If you are uncomfortable with this, do not apply.

+ Please try to keep the expectations you have for your character realistic. While exceptions to most of the Society norms do exist, not everyone is going to exceed them. It is greatly preferred that people who wish to break molds within the Society do so in character, rather than chalking it up to backstory. When in doubt, play it out. This game is Het/Slash/Femme friendly, so don't be afraid to bring all kinds of different characters in to the fold!

+ There will be no IC/OOC crossing when it comes to game play. Be respectful of character boundaries, and do not make assumptions or play out actions of any character that is not your own.

+ You must have a journal that somehow incorporates your character's name (first, last or middle). No OOC usernames will be allowed, nor will usernames with numbers. Underscores are acceptable. AIM in this game is OPTIONAL, but if you would like to make an account please make sure your character's first or last name is distinguishable.

+ New members are expected to introduce themselves in the In Character community as soon as possible. Members that have not provided an introduction after three days without an explanation are available for override. Following the introduction, members will have approximately one week to post or respond to a role play scene in the threading community. Again, failure to do so within the allotted time without notice will result in removal.

+ There are two activity requirements for this game.

One: Each player must take place in at least one (1) roleplay scene every two weeks, posted in the thread community. If you would rather not make your thread public, include the mod journal in your custom filter.

Two: Each player must post at least one (1) journal entry of substance every three weeks. Placeholders can extend your update limit for up to one week.

+ You may ask for a one-week extension on either requirement, although you may not use an extension and placeholder consecutively. If you fail to comply with activity requirements, you will be subject to removal.

+ As of right now all members of the Platinum Society must be over Thirty. During the course of the game it will be possible for younger members to ascend in to the Society, or older members to leave, but because it is based largely on seniority and exclusivity we would like to start with seasoned members of the Society.

+ The Society structure of this game is designed to allow promotion and demotion based on merit (or lack thereof). Gold Members can move in to Diamond or Platinum with relative ease, but in the same respect, the latter two Society Members can face demotion back in to Gold for re-evaluation and training if they prove to be insubordinate or displeasing to the client base. Additionally, escorts may voluntarily demote themselves if they choose to do so, and this is not considered to be a strike against them.

+ Out of all the societies, White Gold is the only society where the escorts that comprise it are not required to have clients, though it is usually uncommon. People may stay on simply to instruct rather than work as an active escort if they so desire, and are paid by the number of Gold Society members they successfully transition in to Diamond.

+ Escort/Client romantic relationships are a lot like card counting in casinos: it's frowned upon, and can be grounds for removal if you're caught (particularly in Platinum, where the Patrons are both high paying and few in numbers). Finding out about these relationships usually results in a mandatory severance fee that both the escort and client must pay to the Madame. All interactions between the Clients and Escorts are negotiated through the acting Madam. Escorts that are found booking clients without the Madam are also at risk for expulsion.

+ While there is no maximum age, all escorts must be over eighteen.
