Chloe Victoria Page was born on October 29,1984 in Sleepy Hollow, New York. The youngest daughter to Julian Page and Moira Murphy, she along with her older sister Stella grew up in an upper/middle class home. Her mother was once a very talented ballerina just like her father. The young couple met while participating in American Ballet Theatre (ABT) during the late 1970's. Becoming a mother wasn't something Moira had longed for. She wanted to dance for the rest of her life and the thoughts of anything stopping that made her ill. Once Moria discovered she was pregnant the first time she was absolutely crushed. So much that she even considered getting an abortion, but with Julian strongly by her side she decided to keep the baby and with a heavy heart ended her career. The couple spoke of marriage, but Moria kept delaying the idea. Anyone who had ever met Moira never realized the actually state of despair she was in.
In reality Moria was unhappy with motherhood and playing the housewife role. She was no longer in love with Julian and in a small way blamed him for ruining her life. On the night of August 3,1989 Moira left Chloe and Stella with their usual babysitter only she never returned. She had left letters to her daughters that she hoped they would someday read, along with another one for Julian. Since they were never married it was easy for her to walk away, but Julian wasn't buying it. He wasn't just about to believe that the mother of his children would be so quick to walk out of their lives. In the letter she told him that she never wanted this life and that she couldn't make her family happy if she truly wasn't happy herself. Deciding to honor Moria's wishes he decided to raise this daughters on his own and not go after her.
Julian had to be their father and mother which wasn't easy at times, but thankfully he had the support of his family. When Chloe was around the age of four her father told her and Stella that their mother had passed away shortly after Chloe's birth. The lie was despicable, but in many ways to Julian she was dead. Chloe and Stella believed it. The absence of not having a mother always haunted both girls. They attended public schools and had made a bunch of friends. Both girls even took ballet classes to feel closer to their mother in some way.
Chloe found things to take her mind off the loss of her mother. When she was sixteen she joined the drama and dance club in school while her sister decided to focus on cheerleading. It was also around that time that her father started dating her soon to be stepmother. By the time Chloe was eighteen her father married Sylvia Bennett. Since she and her sister were both now legally adults Julian decided to finally give them both the letters their mother had left for them all those years ago. He confessed that he lied to try and spare them any pain, but he only made things much more worse.
Furious that her father lied to her about her mother's death Chloe moved out of her father's house along with Stella shortly after the truth was revealed. She attended college and took a few odd jobs around town. With her new freedom she made new friends and kept a far enough distance from her father who she was not ready to forgive just yet. Once she was about to graduate she and her sister did become close to their father once again although it wasn't easy in the beginning. Chloe's life was going smoothly for quite a while. She had found a job that she really loved and was spending more time with her stepmother.
On February 19, 2009 Julian received word from Moira's family that she had passed away. Just like Julian they had not seen or spoken to her in several years. Her body was found near The Hudson River, according to the corners report she died of heroin overdose and the police ruled it as such. On July 10,2011 the police decided to reopen the case due to new evidence. The Moira that Julian once knew and loved was never into drugs. She didn't smoke and barely drank. So he knew the cause of death didn't sound right at all and deep down inside so did Chloe.
