The thing about Rez is she only trusts her brother. She is incredibly sarcastic and hates being given orders, she’s a leader and will do what she thinks is best for the survival of her and her brother. Rez has only been in love once but broke it off because she didn’t like the feeling of being emotionally vulnerable. She doesn’t get attached to people easily and when she does she will do what it takes to protect them

HISTORY
i am a woman with a mission and a past to outdo

Rez didn’t have your typical cookie cutter childhood. She grew up in a rough neighborhood were it was very dog eat dog. She learned that to make it in this world she would have to fight her way through. She will be the first to admit that it lead to some bad decisions in her life and she has been trying to atone with then through her brother ever since. When Rez was 16 her parents were gunned down in front of her. It happened during a robbery at a 711. It had an obvious traumatic impact on her, switching on that protective instinct, because she couldn’t bear the thought of losing anyone else she cared about. After the death of her parents, she and her little brother were sent to their uncles to live. He wasn’t exactly the paternal type, letting them do whatever they pleased. In his mind it was out of sight out of mind.

When she turned 18 she decided that she wanted to become a police officer so she could stop people like the ones who killed her parents. She graduated from the academy at the top of her class and was well on her working up the ranks from a beat cop to a Detective. But then the Outbreak hit. She was no longer just a cop now, now she was a savior. She rescued as many people as she could, putting herself in danger over and over again. She did this for months, but soon the sheer number of the infected she couldn’t keep up anymore and she and her brother made a run for it. It killed her to leave all of the helpless people behind but she had to do what was best for her brother.

One night while she and her brother were holed up in an old motel, Rez ran out to try and find some warmer clothes for the pair of them. All went well until she returned to their room. He brother was no were to be seen but the room was not empty. A man was slamming himself over and over again into the bathroom door, she soon realized that he was a zombie. She called out for it, to get it’s attention, drawing her gun from her waistband. The man rounded on her, sprinting the distance between them. She pulled the trigger and nothing happened. The gun had jammed and he was on top of her. She felt his teeth sink into her shoulder and panic set in. It was all over, she was bit.

Rez wasn’t going to give up that easy, she fought tooth and nail to get him off of her. Eventually she crushed his head with her repeated stomps of her boot. Then she told her brother it was safe for him to come out. She quickly unjammed the gun and handed it to him, telling him what to do and where to go when she turned. Then they waited and waited and waited. Nothing happened. The wound started to scab and then scar and she never turned. It was then she realized that she was immune and with out realizing what it help for her, joined up with the Immune so she could help as many people as she could and still keep her brother safe.
