Thinking about sinning causes them physical pain and illness, and going through with any of the above it causes them to fall, either temporarily or permanently depending on the severity of the crime.☼ Have the ability to travel between Earth and Heaven at will, which can function as a teleportation effect allowing them to cross large distances quickly.
☼ Adept at and have an inherent knowledge of white magic.
☼ Weak against unholy artifacts and weapons.
☼ Resistant to black magic.
☼ Immune to illness, hunger, and fatigue.
☼ Possessing of a gift related to the what they are the angel of, e.g. music, empathy, communicating with animals; additionally, they can inspire an appreciation or temporary enhancement of their gift in others.
☼ Cannot force a being with a soul to take a certain course of action; they can only suggest and hope that the being will choose the right path.
☼ Have large, feathered wings and a translucent halo in certain lighting conditions.
The color and number of these wings may vary depending on the Choir of Angels from which they are descended (Seraphim 6, Cherubim 4, everyone else 2). Halos come in virtually any color as they are condensed light, though metallic tones are more traditional. These are not visible on Earth unless they choose for them to be.☼ Are all created by “Father” and cannot reproduce with any other species, though they do have genitals and are capable of engaging in lust related sins, though this will cause them to fall.
