At first glance, most people would probably assume that Beau does not own a hairbrush. His hair is naturally brown, he keeps it on the longer side and it’s always in a state of carefully constructed chaos. He has brown eyes and a slim build. This is very true about Beau. He always has some kind of crazy goal that he's trying to get, and never usually gives up on a goal until he achieves it. He is constantly striving to press his music career further by owning his own venue and/or founding a tour. He's convinced that he will someday create a tour to rival the Warped Tour. "Most Sagittarians are active people and they tend to lead healthy lives." Beau tries to be able to go to the gym on a regular basis, and is always encouraging his daughter to be active with him. He also only eats organic foods, and has ever since he had his own money to buy it. His parents could never justify spending the extra money on organic food since he was the only one to eat it. Meeting in college, it was love at first sight for Rachel and Joseph. They were together from their freshman year of college, their special bond only growing stronger over the years they were together. During their junior year, Rachel found herself pregnant with their first child. The baby boy, Christopher James, was born and began their family. They married shortly after the baby was born, mostly since Rachel didn't want to be pregnant in a wedding dress. Rachel ended up dropping out of college to raise the baby, being a stay-at-home mom for the first few years of the little boys life. Joseph went on to graduate and to start his construction company. He did well enough with his business for them to live comfortably, even with Rachel being an at-home mom. Not too long after that, their second child came along. Another boy this time, Beau Joseph. They decided that they wanted both of their children to be named after them, both having their parents names incorporated in theirs in some way. What they didn't expect, was their third child, the little girl Rachel always wanted. They wanted to keep the tradition of having their names in their childs name in some way, so they named her Sarah Rachel.

Their family is, and always has been, close. The two boys have always looked out for their little sister; sometimes being a little too protective of her. Going through school, no one ever gave Sarah any problems, because they all knew they would end up having to deal with Chris and Beau. They are a traditional family, especially when it comes to holidays. Their entire family always gets together at their grandmothers house on Thanksgiving and Christmas for a big family dinner and to just spend some family time together. Christmas eve is usually spent at one of their aunts homes. The adults drinking and just sitting around, telling stories while the kids play together.

Beau Norcutt was born and raised in Myrtle Beach. Even after graduating high school and moving out of his parents house, he never thought about leaving the town. From an early age, he was always passionate about music and everything that had to do with it. His mother would tell everyone that he's been an aspiring musician ever since he learned that banging on pots and pans with a wooden spoon made noise. However, over time he moved from pots and pans to guitars and pianos. All through high school, he took part in anything that was related to music. He excelled in chorus and jazz band, even playing percussion instruments in the regular band class. He spent a lot of his free time at home listening to music of all genres and reading about music history. One of the reasons he started up Grooves with his best friend JJ was because he could use his knowledge of music and be around the one thing he loved most. Most of his free time is spent there, talking to musicians that come in and giving piano and guitar lessons.

No longer living with his parents, he now lives in a somewhat small two bedroom apartment with his daughter. He can barely make rent, but he finds ways to make it through and still have extra money to do things like splurge on concert tickets and to add to his music collection as well as giving his daughter the life she deserves. Beau is also an aspiring musician, doing what he can to get his name out there with the hopes of someday making something of himself. His biggest challenge is that he doesn't have a band, but he still does well on his own with just a guitar and keyboard. He writes his best music when he jams with his friends. There are many days that he feels like giving up, but it's those days that he has his friends and family to push him back up. If it weren't for them, he'd have probably given up more than once.

His daughter was product of a high school romance; They were on and off for their entire high school career, and started dating more steadily after they graduated. It was during this time that she ended up pregnant. Since they were already engaged when they found out, they pushed the wedding up so they could be married before the baby came. There were a few complications during the birth, and the doctor pulled him aside to make a decision that would change his life forever. There was no way both mother and child were going to make it through the birth, and he needed to make the decision to save the baby or the mother. They had talked about it briefly beforehand, since she was always the kind of woman to plan ahead, but he never expected he would really be put in this position. Still, he knew her wishes were to save the baby, no matter what. So he told the doctor of her wishes, and they did just that. That was 4 years ago and he hasn't really dated since, nor does he like to talk about what happened. It's something that even today, he's still trying to fully cope with. There are times that he wonders if he made the right decision, but those thoughts are always ended shortly after; as soon as he sees their daughter or hears her playing or laughing. He named her Madison after her mother, so he always has a part of both of them.
