biography

Brynlie Claire Densmore was born to Mr & Mrs. Drew Densmore on October 22, 1985 in Farmington, Maine. The couple had only been married for a few, short months when they found out that they were expecting, but the news was exciting none the less. Diane Densmore had a relatively, easy pregnancy and was able to stay at home due to her husband's profession as one of the city's well known and respected lawyers. The birth of their daughter brought new challenges for the couple and instigated arguments that barely existed before the birth of Brynlie. It was a constant struggle for the two, and often made for a tension filled atmosphere in the homefront. This was true with the arrival of their second daughter, a child just two years Brynlie's junior. However, a companion for Brynlie was more than welcomed during those trying times at home. As years passed and schedules were created, the marriage between Diane and Drew settled down and for the sake of their children, their relationship pulled through. This taught Brynlie everything she needed to learn about overcoming a struggle.

As a Libra child, Brynlie was very attached to her family. She loved to talk, share stories, and feel connected. She was the child you would either have to occupy with a craft, or force her to stop asking questions. She wanted to be aware of every move that you made and every word that you said. This proved to be true with her younger sister, often treating her as her own personal baby doll. Her parents often shuffled the girls about, pushing into different sports and activities. The only sport that Brynlie actually enjoyed was cheerleading, which she continued to do throughout her childhood for Maine's recreational football teams and for varsity when she entered highschool. She was very much your typical golden girl, striving to be the topic of her class in academics. Instead of partying and being care free, class work was the focal point of Brynlie's life, which would prove to pay off with a college of her choice.

At the age of eighteen, Brynlie was accepted into Princeton University where she would hope to follow in her father's footsteps. Saying goodbye to her family was difficult, but life in New Jersey attempted to make up for it. With a small group of friends, Brynlie learned to balance her college performance and how to let go, occasionally. She made sure that she had a grasp on every aspect of her life, never letting anything get out of control. She had no doubt that with, well a lot more schooling, she'd be able to achieve the things that she'd dreamt of. She was ambitious and seen herself as a career woman first, everything else took a backseat. She never had much interest in relationships or dating, she never wanted to unbalance her scales as a Libra woman.

All too familiar with the sting of a summer romance, Brynlie kept her first love in the back of her mind when she met Nicholas Colten. She had learned the hard way that summer romance was only able to work when the summer's light blessed your face. She was almost shocked when that summer ended and the couple continued to make things work for a year. It was early August of 2009 when Bryn had noticed a streak of sickness, accompanied by food aversions. She knew without taking a test that she was pregnant and the test just confirmed her fears. Not only afraid to disappoint her parents who couldn't of been more proud of their law school daughter, she had to say goodbye to those dreams that she had for herself. Now Densmore and Daughter law firm in her eyesight.

She couldn't help but resent Nick, and with an already fragile relationship, the strain proved to be too much for the twosome. He called off their engagement and Bryn felt relieved. She tackled doctor's appointments and pregnancy classes on her own or with her sister. Her father helped her find a small apartment, and she vowed that she would soon repay him. Nine months came and went, and on April 1st, she gave birth to Mollie Elizabeth Colten. The books and family all had tried to describe that feeling that you get when you meet the tiny person that had been growing and developing inside of you, but nothing could describe it. Or continue to describe it as that love grows with each passing day. While Mollie is almost identical to Bryn, she has distinct features of Nick, a perfect combination in Bryn's mind. Mollie is already following in her mother's footsteps with her bossy attitude and love for all things shoes.

In a desperate need for a job to help her father with their bills, Bryn put in applications to every business in town. It didn't take long before she got hired on at The Stumble Inn as their full time, night shift bartender. She established a strong group of regular customers and became a very hard worker, once she got all of the drinks down. It wasn't long before she took on another job that she had applied for, as a flight attendant the third week of every month. This is where she met Daniel. The first guy that had caught her eye since her failed engagement. In six month's time, they were preparing to meet each other's families. When he had mentioned his sister was seeing an emergency room doctor, Bryn knew immediately who he was. She broke it off with Daniel to avoid any step dad/step uncle relationship on Mollie's part, but struggled with her feelings.

A strain of rocky relationships, a busy work schedule and a two year old as her top priority, Bryn has put all things love related on the back burner. She continues to attempt to balance her jobs, daughter, and routine with elegance, but it doesn't always work that way. She's guilty of going out and drinking occasionally when Nick has their daughter, but constantly feels judged for just wanting to have some fun and not feel so uptight all of the time. Brynlie's personality is complicated. While she's the girl who snorts when she laughs, she also tries to maintain a classy image now that she's a mother. She's intelligent, silly and playful. Ordered and organized, each room in her tiny apartment has a theme. She's a big kid at heart and loves watching cartoons even when Mollie is with her father. She has an extensive comic book collection and frequents coffee shops often. She hates having enemies loves having friends. She invests very little time into relationships, as her daughter is her main focus right now. If she feels as if she is losing control in a certain aspect, she does everything in her power to regain it.
