biography. quick facts When she was younger she had a very strong distaste for her name. Over time, there was an adjustment period. She had realized that not everyone had the chance to embrace such a unique and strong name. Apple may not have been conventional, but it was her own. Blythe was also bestowed upon her to honor her grandmother on her mother's side. Alison came from her father's mother. All in all, she now brags about her unique name. Not everyone can be deemed special in that regard. If she was ever forced to be sat down to list off some of her favorite artists she would reveal a very big collection of tastes. Currently, her music tastes range from classic hippie rock (such as The Carpenters; Peter, Paul and Mary; Janis Joplin; Patti Smith) to modern day pop music (with the likes of Britney Spears; Backstreet Boys; John Mayer; Gavin DeGraw; Jason Mraz) and everything in between. Her tastes are eclectic, but never does she delve into any heavy metal/punk/hardcore of any kind. It's just noise to her. It was a very tough decision to make when she had finally chosen to be an actress.
