Tifton, Georgia. The land of dirt roads, grow it yourself, and a mall that was really only a shopping plaza. Where living too far out in the country could not only get a person out of school on a rainy day, but could also keep them from having any internet or tv unless they tried to use old school school antennas. Salon women had hair from the 80's, regardless of the hair their patrons had, and a movie theater presented only one movie to the masses for ten years before finally becoming a Carmike. Tornado drills and fingers crossed for a few snowflakes. That was Tifton. When Samantha Carmichael met Marshall Hainesworth, they were just kids in high school. Samantha a cheerleader and Marshall in ROTC, some would say their paths should have never crossed. In a small football town, sports were where the popular kids flocked. If a student wasn't part of one, they either stayed off to the side or were in to academics. Either way, the circles didn't interact. That was until Marshall and Samantha were paired off in a Biology class their Sophomore years and became friends. Friends became dating, which then brought forth a steady couple. They broke rules and they didn't care. They had big dreams and ideas and they were going to leave the city behind. Unfortunately, like most people in Tifton, they either get accepted into big schools or they stay put after graduation. With college fees so high, both quickly changed their minds about their sudden big dreams and attended ABAC until they married at the end of their Freshman year. It wasn't until then that things began to change for the couple. Just before finding out she was pregnant, Samantha found out that Marshall had decided to join the army. If it's adventure she wanted, Samantha was about to get it. New York and Hawaii were just two of the destinations for this newly married couple, and mostly certainly weren't going to be the last. One child became two, and then two soon turned into three. It didn't take too long for Samantha to grow tired of moving around and wish for a more permanent address. Settling down near Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Samantha found herself almost back home. Calling the city a "glorified Tifton," Samantha was able to raise her children in the country without having to say she didn't move up in the world. Julian, the middle of those three children, suffered as a typical middle child did as he grew up. His older brother, Max got to do everything first, and his younger brother Warren, was too young to know any better so he could get away with murder. Finding ways to steal the spotlight was always a challenge for Julian. He either got a nice smile from his mother, knowing that Max had done it first, or a frown from her letting him know that his behavior was only acceptable if he was named Warren. Since Max excelled in academics, Julian threw himself into sports. Jumping from one to another until he found a fondness for baseball. Finally, he was able to shine. His brothers didn't play, so little league was all his. When his family went to the games, they went to watch him.. no one else. Consistently, playing throughout his junior high and high school years gained him not only an offer to play for UNC, but also a bit of a scholarship, which was more than okay in his parents eyes. Never taking scholastics or life too seriously, Julian surprised himself when he discovered a love for music and theatre his Freshman year at UNC. Torn between sports and drama, Julian soon realized that he didn't have to fit inside a mold like his parents once had. He could do as he pleased and be happy doing it. Now, a Sophomore, Julian has been trying to get more into theatre, but never leaving his baseball schedule behind. |

• Named Julian Andrew Hainesworth after his grandfather and uncle. • Plays baseball, but became involved in theatre his Freshman year at UNC. • On the outside, Julian seems as though he rarely takes anything seriously. He's bad at relationships, rarely gets the girl, and is often not the guy everyone goes to for advice. However, there is a side of Julian that can be serious, and very few people ever get to see it. • Highly immature, Julian often puts his foot in his mouth or comes across as rude without realizing it. • Was forced to take piano lessons as a child, but now is grateful as he enjoys playing. • Is part of the Clef Hangers, but has a few ideas of his own for them. • Favorite color is green. Favorite musician is Jimi Hendrix, due to his father's love of 70's music. • Once wrote poetry for fun, but immediately stopped the moment a girl laughed at him and told him he had to be joking. • Was part of a music group called "Special Delivery" when he was thirteen with his best friend and two other guys. All they ever did was write terrible songs and sing them into video cameras. Though, he did put on a lip syncing performance for a group of peers when he was eleven. He still feels self conscious about his not so awesome dancing skills to this day. • Rarely talks about his awkward days and fully believes he's more than adult than he could be. • Enjoys video games, horror flicks, comedies, action adventure, mystery books, Stephen King, Futurama, What's grosser than gross, Zero candy bars. • More to come |
