 Founded: 2032Opened: 2041 Located: Centre Island, NY Motto: Te invito, nemo efficere potest ut tibi inferior videaris School Colors: Blue & Silver Grades: K-12 The early phases of Wyrd Haven Academy were formed by Sebastian Sullivan and Penelope Zimmerman in direct response to a time traveling incident in 2032. Bad news from the future forced them to take action. Collecting a group of friends together on the island (Frye Island), they aided each other in developing their powers. Meetings were kept secret from the scientists, and only held in small groups to avoid discovery. These meetings continued for six years until 2038, when the Project was shut down. Sullivan was evacuated in December of 2038, followed shortly by Zimmerman in February of 2039. The two purchase a large house outside of New York City and begin renovating. In September of 2041, Wyrd Haven Academy officially opens for their first year of students, only available to those with powers. Boarding is available to all students, though it is not required for those living in NYC. |
