A few things to keep in mind when applying: We do expect you to have read our rules and other important info posts. This, however, doesn't mean we expect you to remember everything in them at all times. You can always go back and re-read if you need to! Initial reading of them before applying, though, does mean you won't wind up with a rule or guideline that you're not okay with after you've been accepted and have started playing, and lessens the chance of a rejected app.

Copy and paste the application below into a new entry on your character journal and fill it out (make sure we can view it!) After you've completed the app, comment here with a link to it and we will approve or deny your application on an adding day (we do adds on Tuesdays and Saturdays.) If you have any questions about current plotlines or concerns about how your character will fit in, you may speak with a mod before applying and we'll be happy to be your soundboard and help you work out any kinks, or you can join the OOC comm and post with your char to look for lines!
We're looking for complete applications for well-developed characters who will fit the game setting well. Whether Vegas is your character's home town or they're just moving to the city, there's room for you here! Have a good sense of cause and effect in regards to character actions, and be confident that you can play in accordance to the personality and history you've given your character.
Additional things we may be looking for in a character at any given time can be found by looking through the wanted characters or viewing our game statistics to see what sort of characters we're low on!
If your application is rejected we will always tell you why and if it's a fixable issue. If, for some reason, your app would need a full overhaul to be accepted, you may choose to do that or app a different character. Remember! An app rejection is not a death sentence, nor is it a reflection on you, your skills as an RPer, or your character; it generally all boils down to whether or not the character will be a good fit or not.
Be sure to friend the mod journal and join the OOC community. If you are accepted you will receive community invitations for the threading and networking communities. By applying to Fabulous Las Vegas, you are agreeing that you have read the rules.
Remove our comments after reading them as you fill out your application. Please make sure the character picture in your app is one you like and is 200px by 150px (we need it to put you on the cast list!) Your journal should have your application bio page and an OOC dropbox. Anything else is entirely up to you. If this is not your first application, and you already have a character in Fabvegas, you do not need to provide additional RP samples. The ones from your first accepted application are enough and we won't ask you for more the next time around, so you can delete that section, replace it with a note that this is not your first app, or leave it blank.
