credits guidelines

Make sure that your characters credits are reasonable.

Your character is not a triple threat. They may sing, they may act, they may write, and they may do all three, but they do not do all three well. Justin Timberlake can sing, but he sucks at acting. Scarlett Johansson can act, but she sucks at singing. Get the drift?

Do not make every single role your character is in the same as what their PB is in just so you can use pictures and icons. One or two roles is fine, but many more and we will PM you to let you know your credits need to be altered, and you will not be allowed into the game until they are.

Do not make every single role your character is in a starring role. Careers have to be built, and true breakout stars are rare (and we’ll bet that if you go over to IMDB, you’ll learn that that “breakout” star has been in lots of movies or television shows before). If most of your character’s roles are starring, particularly early on in their career, you will be PMed and asked to alter your credits and you will not be allowed into the game until this has been done.

Musicians have one voice. We do, however, make exceptions and the two voices that we are allowing you to claim MUST be similar in sound. If you claim Mariah Carey and Faith Hill for the same character, we are going to reject you. We’re not even going to ask you to change your credits. We’re just going to reject. Why? Because that’s stupid and you should know better.

Don't overdo it. Four movies, an album, and two books is a little much for one person, don't you think? How about you try and be realistic about what one man (or woman) can accomplish in a year?

Credits are first come, first serve. If someone applies before you with the credits you want, you should have applied faster.

We don’t hold movie roles for people who haven’t been accepted. So don’t ask. Once you’re accepted, if you need a role held for future use, you may do so.
