When I get sad I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True story.
Let Me Tell You A Story...
According to his parents, Dominic Marshall Wyndham was born on a day that promised sun but only delivered a few inches of rain. One of the many children born in Mount Sinai Hospital that night, Dominic spent his first few nights in the NICU, his parents visiting him every day until he was well enough to go home. His mother said it was a sign of greatness and she was absolutely right... although not in the way she had meant.

Dominic had an average upbringing. With his father working all of the time and his mother being devoted to her life as a housewife, it was no wonder that he was closest to her. Despite the rarity of seeing his father, however, Dominic aspired to be as hardworking as he was. He learned how to cook traditional Afro-Panamanian family meals with his mother, something that became a sort of tradition between the two. Holidays were done big in the Wyndham household and decorating the home was an activity he shared with his father.

Throughout elementary school and junior high, Dominic was the poster child for obedience. His grades were perfect, his behavior was good and he never really challenged his parents. He was raised with a tight leash and a father who'd spent time in the military so this was no surprise. However, when the time came for high school, he began to rebel and question things as teenagers normally do. Although he kept his grades up in school (because his parents had hammered the good grades= great college mentality into his head), he began to experiment with pushing his parents buttons a bit more. He never did anything overboard, but drinking under the bleachers on the football field and smoking in Central Park became routine- as well as ignoring his curfew on plenty of occasions.

When the time finally came for choosing a college, there was no hesitation in him attending Yale. It was the school both his father and grandfather had attended, he loved the grounds and the Archaeology program- which he was dead set on choosing- was one of the best in the country. His first four years at Yale seemed to breeze by. Creating a small circle of friends, he was never in need of entertainment or company, something that was really important to him being away from home. Even though he dedicated ample time to studying and focusing on his studies, he made sure he attended every single party possible. Oddly enough, most of those parties had very little to do with the students and campus of his university.

During his junior year, Dominic was approached by one of his now best friends- Matthew. The two met in an Archaeology of East Asia class and hit it off immediately, finding they had more in common than they thought. Hanging out with Matthew opened Dominic's eyes to a world he never knew about. He'd wondered how Matthew, who came from a middle class home much like his own, could afford the car he drove and condo he lived in off campus. Matthew explained to Dominic that he was a male escort- not someone women paid to have sex with but someone they paid to be their plus one. Dominic was a bit shocked by this. Having grown up in a very vanilla household, this world was completely foreign... and intriguing. It didn't take much of a sell from Matthew to get him to join in on the fun and he found himself moonlighting as an escort for the next two years, a job that helped him save a heap of money.

When he graduated, with his BA in Archaeology, Dominic moved back to New York and rented himself an apartment in Long Island City. Scoring himself an internship at the Museum of Natural History, he enrolled in Columbia University and earned his MA in Archaeology. At the ripe age of 24, Dominic decided that he needed to get out and travel. Despite his parents' wishes to get a job and settle down with a wife, he decided to close his eyes and place his finger on a map. London was his first stop away from home and- for another three years- he found himself slowly traveling east. With the money he'd saved from being an escort and the money he made continuing that job as he traveled, he created quite a hefty nest egg for himself while his family believed he was simply backpacking.

However, while Dominic was celebrating his 28th Christmas in Seoul, he received the call that his mother had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. He packed his bags with no hesitation and made his way home, moving back in with his parents to take care of his mother when his father could not. He took her to the doctor when necessary and stuck by her side during her chemotherapy treatments. Her illness took a toll on all of their family and, for a moment, he thought he was going to lose the most important person in his life. Even though she is now in remission, Dominic did not want there to be too much distance between them anymore. He found a condo in Manhattan and, through all of his networking, a job as an Associate Curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Although he has hung up his hat as a male escort (for now), he continues to live comfortably and doesn't mind staying in one place, especially since he can still have his own space while keeping an eye on his mother.

♣ has played the piano since he was five years old and his favorite nanny took him to her daughter's lessons.

♣ has a reputation as a smooth-talker but what people fail to realize is that he can only act that way with women he doesn't really care for. he tends to flub quite often if he's seriously attracted to someone but he's great at covering it up.

♣ he is fluent in english, italian and french but dabbles conversationally in japanese, german and korean.

♣ gets very expressive with his hands when he's riled up. watch out or you might get whacked since his hands do most of the talking. he can be... a bit dramatic.

♣ taught himself how to play the guitar when he was twelve.

♣ loves to cook anything and everything and takes culinary classes with his mom whenever he has the time.

♣ he may eat everything he sees and laughs at vegetarianism because he loves him some pork but he also works out 5 days a week to keep himself in shape.
