brief biography
born into a loving and supportive family on september 20, 1986, fatima was the second child to arrive, but the first to actually belong to both of her parents. from the get-go she was the apple of her father's eye, his only biological child and the privileged princess of their small, multi-ethnic family. the word 'no' was rare when it came to their young daughter's wants, and soon enough the forney's found that, despite their best intentions, they had raised a spoiled and somewhat privileged daughter who wasn't all that considerate when it came to other's people's needs. fueled by the constant protection and extra encouragement that her older half-sister provided, fatima only grew emotionally vulnerable and feeble, relying on others for almost everything. eventually tiring of the whole damsel in distress shtick, her parents enrolled her in martial arts classes, much to fatima's chagrin. feeling that their daughter needed the discipline, the forney's forced the seventh grader to attend, encouraging her to approach this with an open mind and try to not see it as a form of punishment, but a way to better herself as a person. young and lazy, fatima didn't completely start to embrace the lessons until freshman year of high school, when boys started to notice her superior physique, and all the exercise seemed to finally start paying off.

having developed before the rest of her classmates, the extra attention was the type of encouragement that really lit a fire under fatima's ass, and it was freshman year that she really started to come into her own. joining the cheerleading team, fatima made friends and started a steady incline up the social ladder. parties and school events were prioritized over books and learning, neglecting an education and concentrating on becoming that better person that her parents wanted her to manifest into. was it what they had originally meant by it? no. but the actual meaning of those words were jaded by the instant gratification that came with being popular. fast forward four years, and what was once a quiet, reserved and completely dependent fatima had developed into a confident, beautiful young woman of average intelligence. while she wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, fatima had other redeeming qualities. qualities that, while under appreciated by her parents, were accepted and encouraged by her peers. needless to say, a college education took a back seat to following other passions, and after spending a year traveling abroad and familiarizing herself with both her roots and the roots of pablo, fabio, jean-luc and hanh, fatima made the trek back home to california, where her good looks and vivacious personality could only really get her so far.

disgruntled and feeling the same way that she did back in seventh grade, the now twenty-two year old was left with limited options, gathering enough money through odd jobs to enroll herself in a cosmetology school and shacking up with her sister, who had since had a child. stuck with the job of live in nanny, fatima continued to pursue her old interests, concentrating on taking care of her niece while educating herself on both beauty and fitness. eventually graduating, she earned her 'degree' as an expert in all things hair and make up related, quitting her then job as a bartender and, deciding to play it cool for another year or so, starting a youtube channel where she could vent her frustrations, offer tips on keeping fit and pretty, and upload videos of her work as a sort of online portfolio for potential employers to see, all the while strengthening the bond she had with her sister, and getting acquainted with a niece she didn't even know existed.

with a cosmetology degree and plenty of job experience under her belt, fatima eventually managed to land a job worked behind the make up counter at neiman marcus, helping the rich housewives of san francisco find their outer beauty (not that they needed it, really). but, as most things went with fatima, the everyday hustle and bustle quickly grew old, and like both her parents and her sister expected, the twenty-four year old packed up and left her hometown for a second time on a suggestion from a friend, who encouraged her to make the leap into complete independence and move in with them. the idea of two single girls sharing an apartment appealed to her, and while the future did seem a little unsure, it was barely intimidating to fatima, making a leap from california to texas, where the two settled and tried to find their footing within this new community. finding work at a local beauty salon, fatima started doing make up for their clients, renting a chair and making just enough to make her half of the rent, using any extra money to keep herself fed, clothed and in shape. rekindling her old interests in martial arts, she enrolled herself in classes at the local community center, where she'd eventually meet her future husband after flipping him over during a 'friendly' spar. while most men would have probably suffered from a bruised ego, it was adam's relentless chasing that stood him out from the crowd, married only a short while after they met.
