He got his big break at age 17, when an audition in the local newspaper had called for energetic and natural performers for a pop band. After extensive auditions, Zachary found himself in pop group, Moves, named after their easy-to-follow dance moves to each of their music videos. Zachary enjoyed selling over 25 million records, including 15 million albums worldwide with Moves. However, after two #1 hit singles and every other single being in the top ten, Zachary and (insert name here) called it quits with the band. Fans were furious as they broke the news on Boxing Day '01, accusing the band of capitalizing on the lucrative pre-Christmas merchandise market. However, months after, the truth was revealed, but by then Zachary and (insert name here) had signed on a deal with Warners. After three singles, however, the two decided to part ways for reasons unknown to the public. Following the break-up (of both the band and with (insert name here)), Zachary decided to travel to America where his father was residing at. It took him about a year to get settled down and find a job in the acting industry, but eventually he found one in the form of Prince Char in the movie adaptation of Ella Enchanted. Following which was getting cast in the television drama, Lost, and through the years there were a few other movies, including the action thriller Jumper. Right now, Latchford is part of the ensemble cast as the womanizing Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother. Credits: Here.
