it looks like 2009 is going to be a busy year for danny palmer! many of you might remember him as ugly ducking's former guitarist and marc palmer's twin (rip marky marc), but it looks like danny's got a few more tricks up his sleeve than we thought. today on his website danny revealed that he's got an album in the works that he's producing by himself where every month a new song will be released. the song up for grabs this month is apparently called 'out at the pictures.'

Oh, hello there!

Long time no see, I know. It's been a while since I've taken the time to stop by and given you loyal fans something to gab about, but you won't have to fret any longer since I've come bearing good news. After taking a lengthy hiatus at home in Pasadena to clear my head and sort out matters of the heart I am pleased to announce that I am making music once again. Now here's the really good news for you, the fans, who have remained by my side through thick and thin: over the course of this year I will be releasing a full length, 12 track album. Each month check back right here for a new song as well as some cool extras from time to time that you can purchase for just 99 cents-- you can't even buy a pack of Orbit that cheap, people! This album will be entirely self produced and meant as a thank you for your unending support and love, which is the very least I feel I can do.

I'd like to give thanks to my awesome family who've been so supportive of each of the decisions I've made in this past year. So, here's to you Dad, Mom, Annie, Tim, Sammy, Palmer Twins Pt 2, and my baby, Emma-- I wouldn't have been able to step from the dark back toward the light without you acting as my guiding force . Also, a big thanks to Hank for dealing with me through the many highs and the many more lows that I go through on a daily basis during the recording process. Finally, I just want to say how appreciative I am of our little production team that could, the few of you that have become a second family to me, this album is what it is because of your helping hands.

since when does danny have an english accent?? someone please tell me that i am not going out of my mind and i'm not the only one who hears it.
