| “The Hubby” |
Sharlene first met Lee in 2002, when they were both cast on the Joss Whedon series, Firefly. On screen, their characters were about as connected as you get; Lee Womack played 'Wash' Washburne, the pilot of the Serenity and husband of Sharlene's character, Zoë Washburne. Their friendship lasted long past most 'Hollywood' links between co-stars; it was Sharlene who gave Lee's Montana ranch it's 'Big Skye' moniker. They still call each other by nicknames their characters used for each other, or 'hubby' and 'wifey'. They used to routinely mess with the tabloids making them think they are 'dating'; just before Christmas of 2009, the joking became serious and Lee and Sharlene have been in a serious relationship ever since. They recently have hit a bit of a rough patch due to some legal and personal issues in Lee's life, but have slowly been working past them. |
| There is a 13 year age gap between Sharlene and Lee; they first met in 2002, when Sharlene was 36 and Lee was 22.. |

| “Our British Cousin” |
Magnolia Sloane (more commonly known as Nola) is Sharlene's cousin from England. Her mother, Christina James, is Sharlene's aunt. (Unlike Sharon, Christina is a naturalized American citizen.) Nola is a photographer and fashion historian who makes her living as a consultant on period films. The two met several times over the years, and Sharlene tried hard to take time to include Nola during family events even though a good section of the family liked to call her 'that little snobby girl'. Sharlene loves Nola's spirit and will call her for advice and shopping trips, especially when Sharlene is in Europe. |
| Nola and Sharlene have never worked together, nor has Nola ever photgraphed her cousin.. |

| “The 'Backstabber'” |
Sharlene really wanted to like Yaël Levy. She really did. She was friends with Lee, Sharlene enjoyed some of the work that she was in, she seemed like a genuine person. But the two women clashed horribly once Sharlene started dating Lee in earnest, because Yaë felt 'slighted' that she wasn't told 'immediately' when they started dating. Sharlene still doesn't believe Yaël's claims that she is 'happy' for the couple. Never one to shy away from a confrontation, Shar tried to push Yaël into admitting her dislike, which only left a much more bitter taste in Shar's mouth for the Israeli actress and it didn't get any better when Yaë decided to criticize her cousin, Nola. It's not her style to trash someone behind their back and she doesn't bring her dislike up with people that she knows who are friends with Yaël, but Shar would never back away from a full on fight if or when it comes to standing her ground with her. |
| Sharlene told Lee exactly when and why she was confronting Yaël and if he wished to remain friends with her, that was his prerogative. Sharlene believes that Yaël really wanted to date Lee herself and lashed out from jealousy. |
Charles Emerson |
|
| “Ex-Husband #1” |
Ex-husband #1 (1994-1997): Charles Emerson was older, wiser and seemed to be the perfect fit for an uncertain Sharlene. He was guiding her behind the scenes and moved her into her first big movie role, Sally Hemings in Thomas Jefferson In Paris. But as her star rose, she started to find him more and more controlling and eventually she decided to leave him. She doesn't talk about this relationship that much, even though it was one that has ended up effecting all her personal relationships since. (NPC - pb'ed Dennis Haysbert) |
| Sharlene met Charles on the set of Knots Landing; he was the first and only co-star she has ever been romantically involved with while they were working together. |

| “Ex-Husband #2” |
(2000-2004): Jeff Kierney was everything her first husband wasn't: a big joker, a song-and-dance man, funny, non-controlling. It looked to be the perfect match and no-one was surprised when they got married. Love was never a problem for them, but everything else seemed to be. They were both jealous of the time spent with respective friends, she never liked how much attention he seemed to pay to her little sister, he was insanely jealous of her closeness to the Firefly cast (especially Lee) and their bickering sometimes moved into the public eye. They haven't spoken much, if at all, in the five years since they divorced. He was cast as Agent Thomas Morgan opposite Sharlene's Agent Zoe Perez in the movie Eagle Eye, something Sharlene didn't know when it occured because she was in New Orleans doing work on the set of The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button when he was hired. (currently NPC - pb'ed Pierce Brosnan AVAILABLE TO BE FILLED - PB NEGOTIABLE!!!) |
| Sharlene and Jeff were introduced to each other via her sister Lena, who auditioned for a role in the musical Chicago; Jeff was the lead male character, laywer Billy Flynn |

| “The Little Sister” |
Lena is Sharlene's youngest sister. She is a singer and has released two R&B albums. Her first album was very poorly received and Lena went into acting in musicals for a time until she released her second album in 2008. Lena recently was the runner-up on ABC's Dancing With The Stars and was named to the cast of the reboot of Star Trek>. Shar tries her best to look out for her little sister without smothering her as Lena makes her way into the Hollywood 'A-List' and is extremely proud of her accomplishments. Most recently, Sharlene and Lena have had a strained relationship because Lena disapproves of Sharlene dating Lee, both because of his age and his race. (currently NPC - pb'ed Mya Harrison AVAILABLE TO BE FILLED - PB NEGOTIABLE!!!)

| Sharlene and her sisters all have nicknames for each other based on characters in 'The Color Purple': Sharlene is 'Shug' for her wanderlust and flamboyance, Janet is 'Sofia' for her outspokeness and Lena is 'Squeak' because of her highpitched laugh.. |
