“That’s what real love amounts to – letting a person be what he really is. Most people love you for who you pretend to be, to keep their love you keep pretending – performing. You get to love your pretense. It’s true; we’re locked in an image of an act.” – Jim Morrison

Phlebotomy has gone through several reconstructive turns through the past several months but we feel this will be our most drastic yet.

Writing can serve as a gateway into so many different worlds and we question, why should a time line define what is capable, when nothing else can? Forget what you know about writing in group settings and for the time being, let’s try something different entirely.

The Chronicles gave us a base for what we hoped to accomplish with our characters, whoever they may have been. Whether a Canon character called loudly enough in order for you to grip onto their voice and put what you felt into words or perhaps you saw an Original Character that was never created at all, by any but you alone. Phlebotomy isn’t meant for one story alone, but rather for many stories to be formulated and shared.

Brilliant minds aren’t easy to come by, but when they’re found we feel as though boundaries should no longer bind them from writing what they’d like to see played out. We hold one rule firmly to our writers and that is to be creative in your writing, and be respectful to other writers while doing so.

Whether you’re hoping to write something from the past, present, or even the future.. All things are capable.
