rules applying when you apply, please make sure that you have an aim screen name ready and available in the application. this is to ensure an active and welcoming community. this provides an easy way for our members to interact and meet new people. without aim we often find that members don't branch out as much as they could. please make sure that you have a recent friends only post when applying. this makes it easier for us to judge adds and removals. if you have a backdated entry, in your userinfo it will show that the journal has not been updated and may be susceptible for removal. this will just help us keep track of the members and make adds/removals/overrides easier for everyone. if your application was deleted, this means that you were not accepting into the community. this can range to and from a number of things. if you have any questions or concerns about your rejection feel free to PM or comment in the dropbox. challenging holds will be until the first set of adds, which at this time are to be announced. the reason we are taking holds is because we are capping challenged at two apps per celebrity. for the first set of adds this would include the original hold and then the challenger, but after our first set of adds we will be strictly taking two applications per celebrity without holds. updating our update limit will be four weeks, because we will be judging activity on a subcomm basis. we highly encourage posting in lyric, random and cryptic communities. we also highly encouraging commenting new members and introduction posts. we will also except one place holder (youtube, one-liner, gif or songs) at the four week mark, if a decent entry isn't posted ONE WEEK after your place holder then we will consider that you have forfeited the role and you will be up for override/removal. we will also take a substantial update from a friend if you absolutely cannot make it by the update limit. hiatus requests while on hiatus, you will be required to adhere by your hiatus dates. we do not accept indefinite hiatus status. if you are caught signing on aim, commenting, changing icons/user info while on hiatus, it will be revoked and you will be considered an active member of the community. this is to limit the number of people who are trying to avoid updating. when coming back from hiatus, we will require a substantial entry one week after you have returned. if you need an extension on hiatus, don't be afraid to ask! feel free to comment the members only area that you will have access to after being accepted as a member of the community. this is where you will see all of the appropriate forms and at this time you can request hiatus or a hiatus extension. we will never ask for a reason fo hiatus because we know all about personal issues, or maybe you just need time apart from your celebrity. we understand, so never feel like you can't ask. |
