R U L E S

DRAMA.
Will not be tolerated. Keep the fighting in character. Remember, not all characters are going to get along. If another character fights with yours it's because the characters don't like each other. This does not mean the other player doesn't like you. Please remember this. I've had to deal with this situation one too many times. Keep all fighting IN character and remember that's exactly what it is. IN CHARACTER. If drama is brought into the OOC community I am not going to be too happy. If you have an issue with another player then you need to talk to them about it. If it's not resolved then come to me about it. I'll remove people from the game if a situation calls for it. Drama is for Junior High school, not a RP game.
MARY SUES/GOD-MODDING.
Mary Sues/Gary Stus and godmodding are NOT allowed.
CHARACTER LIMITS.
At the current time, players are only allowed at max three (3) characters. There aren't too many characters to be played, and we do not want everyone playing with themselves. Because there are only so many spots in this game, I want a lot of people to be able to play in it. You are only allowed ONE Ministry character and they will count toward your 3 character limit. Please only take 3 characters if you can faithfully be active with both of them. You cannot play 2 characters from the same family. If you don't see a character's name on the list? They are dead and will not be brought into the game. No OC's are allowed.
PLAYED BYS.
Please make sure you select a PB that's close to the age of your character. I know it's not going to be exact, just make sure it's close. Anthony Hopkins is not in his 20's, Kristen Bell is not in her 40's, ect.
JOURNAL AND AIM NAMES.
Please make sure your journal names relate to your character's name somehow. While AIM is not required it does make character plotting easier. ^_^
ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS.
This is a HUGE thing. If you remain active with one character and not with other, drop the character you don't have time for. If you don't, I will, if I see it's a problem. If you are going to be gone more than a day or so, Post a HIATUS notice in the OOC Comm and TAG it HIATUS. If you do NOT we may throw your characters on the warning list. Just telling us over IM is NOT going to work. We forget things. It happens.

Quick Rule Set for Activity:
♠ Journals must be over 5 sentences long
☼ Threads must have more than 1 reply each (1 per character, not including the first post)
♠ Journals and Threads posted on the day the activity check is done DO NOT COUNT TOWARDS THE NEXT CHECK.
☼ Activity Checks are TWICE a month. We are looking for a min. of 2 journals\2 threads. Activity cannot be ONLY journals but it CAN be only Threads (as long as there are replies). We are HOPING for more activity than 2\2 of course, we would like 2 Threads per week to be honest.
♣ if for whatever reason you cannot keep up with this, please let us know, or consider dropping characters. We want everyone to be happy, having fun and relaxed, not stressed.
APPLYING&HOLDS.
When you post your application, please make sure it is completely finished. Place a link to the app on the application page. Please make sure to keep your application on your character's journal page, as well as their PB and your OOC info. I may need to reference it every so often. I If you would like to hold a character, please post who you would like held and if possible, the PB. You may hold 2 characters at the same time if you want to.
HIATUSES.
Hiatuses are allowed for up to three weeks, as we all know life gets in the way. We will be lienant about how long during holiday seasons only (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc) Hiatuses can be given more than once but with good reasons if they are quickly following on the heels of a recent one.
PREGNANCY/MARRIAGE/ETC.
Marriage and pregnancy storylines allowed and fully encouraged, as they are a part of this game. And pregnancy lines are to be played out the full nine months. All other storylines aside are fine (except for DEATH), but please make sure that all parties involved are warned and O.K. with the subject matter.
STRIKEOUTS/PRIVATE.
Strike-outs represent text that has been scribbled out and is unreadable to anyone. Private/blocked is also unreadable to anyone unless the writer specifies who it is open to or blocked from.
MEMBERS AREA.
THREADS: All threads must be under a cut and MUST be rated/cautioned. When you are done with a thread, change the status to complete. See example below! WHO: WHERE: WHEN: WHY: RATING: STATUS: EXAMPLE Who: Luna Lovegood and Harry Potter Where: The Ministry of Magic When: Friday, September 16th Why: They ran into one another Rating: Cautioned for language Status: In Progress! One liners are fine when it comes to posting in a character's personal journal but I'd like a bit of substance from you when posting a thread. Make it at least a couple of paragraphs. I'm not asking for novels but I want you to use some imagination and creativity here. The more you post, the more players writing with you have to respond to, making for better character interaction.
