Biography

BACKGROUND INFO Noah was born to some very loving parents in Seattle, Washington. However, he never knew much of them. Ruth and David Jackson were married only a year before their son was born. They were very proud parents and loved Noah endlessly. Unfortunately, on October 4, 1983, when Noah was a mere six months old, Ruth was in a car accident that took her life. David tried to raise his son on his own, but it was difficult. Part of him blamed Noah for the accident, and he was a constant reminder of his lost love. Unable to overcome the depression of loss, and feeling inadequate as a single father, David relinquished his duties to Ruth's parents, Marion and John (Gram and Gramp to Noah). They were glad to take Noah into their home and raised him with as much care and love as they knew Ruth and David would have.
Other than the loss of his parents, Noah had a typical childhood. His grandparents raised him liberally, allowing him to do as he pleased and only stepping in to correct things if there was a problem. They were very nurturing of all of his interests, hobbies, and talents – or lack of. He was never a problem child. At a very young age, Noah took to the arts, constantly drawing or writing something, reading. He had a very vivid and active imagination, creating his own world and constantly obsessing over it. Though they thought it odd, Marion and John allowed it, even playing along from time to time. The only issue they saw with this was that it made Noah seemingly anti-social. He didn't play much with other children. Though he did have some friends, he very rarely included them in his fantasy world.
In high school, Noah began to blossom and bloom. He became more active in social activities and hung around more people. Continuing with his love for the arts, Noah was a part of the art club, drama club, and his high schools literary magazine. Despite the introversion he developed young, Noah loved to be included in these clubs. He starred in many plays, was included in a few of the schools art shows, and even published something in each literary magazine they released all four years of his high school career. Noah was a fairly decent student, and had many friends. Though he still seemed to live in his own world and still spent a lot of his time alone, he did attend many parties. After coming out in high school, he had a few boyfriends, though none that were too serious, and come his junior year he became very promiscuous, a trait that stayed with him for many years.
After high school, Noah attended University of Oregon where he majored in English and minored in creative writing (not without some jumping around between majors first). At U of O, Noah met a boy who might have changed his life forever. Vince was a mere 19 years old when he showed up at Noah's 21st birthday party and wasn't currently enrolled at the university. They spent the night together and many after that until Noah left for Seattle over summer vacation. When he returned for fall semester, they picked right back up where they left off. Just when things started to have the hint of seriousness, though, Vince was arrested. At the time, Noah was home in Seattle in memoriam of his mothers death, and when he returned, the rumor that had surfaced was that Vince had died in a bombing.
Upon graduation, Noah considered graduate school. Remembering a time when Vince had mentioned a fondness of Rhode Island, he packed his things and moved to Providence where he would attend Rhode Island College for a masters in English with a concentration in creative writing. Noah also became certified to teach in the state of Rhode Island and received a job to teach high school English. Finding it difficult to do both, teach and attend school for a graduate degree, Noah dropped out of school to focus more on his career.
2011 brought on many changes for Noah. First, his grandparents moved to Rhode Island so that they could be closer to him. Then, in August, Noah found Vince. By some act of fate, they reconnected in Rhode Island. They began to date, as Noah's first serious boyfriend, and moved in together. Sometime around Thanksgiving, Noah quit the high school and spent more time at home trying to focus on writing and his other art. A few weeks later, it was found that Gramp has prostate cancer. He had a surgery to remove the bulk of the cancer but is currently undergoing chemo. More recently, Noah proposed to Vince on Valentine's Day, but Vince had declined the proposal and the two broke it off. Noah moved all of his things out and is now living in the Arcade Lofts by himself. For work, Noah decorates cakes, part time, at his best friends bakery just outside of the townsquare.
