Maybe it wasn't even a person. There are all sorts of creatures and animals and what not that gather things to make nests and things.. and if that's the case, I don't want to interfere with the habitat or something..

It's true, there are a lot of like creepy animals out there. The one El saw seems mean but the one I saw seemed like... gentle. Scary as hell but gentle and way too big for a sock nest. And if all this thing is doing is taking socks... it can't be too bad right? I wouldn't worry about it.
