The Vollmond are a pretty new tribe, they are thought to be an evolution of the once smart animals of the island.

Availability: Open.

The Vatnadís is the tribe of naiads. They are the water spirits that dwell in the waters of the Insula De Virsta. There are divided into four categories: The Limnatide, The Potameides, the Eleionomae, and the Crinaeae.

Availability: Not available, unless one of the naiads decides to end their existence at which point they would be replaced by a new naiad.

The light elves have been under the leadership of Rhian and Eira for three hundred years. They continue to lead the tribe through the war and strife. Eira is more aggressive and sometimes takes matters into her own hands by sending out guerrilla troops to attack the dark elves on their home turf.

The light elves have the power of healing and foresight. They are very knowledgeable to the healing power of plants.

Availability: Open (pbs must have blond hair).

At present there is only one known banshee. In so far as Fiona knows she is the last of her line.

Availability: Depending on who you want to play, the Other category is wide open.

Violence has plagued the dark elf village, making it hard for them to establish a stable community. They have lived in turmoil and squalor in dirty and primitive homes. War and destruction has been the focus of their lives because of the way they were built. When Idris rose to power in the tribe, he discovered they had other talents that they could focus on rather than on pure destruction. When alchemy was discovered, the tribe turned to more civilized pursuits, but they did not prosper for long because of the war with the light elves.

The dark elves have the power of necromancy and alchemy.

Availability: Open (pbs must be dark haired).

One of the very first vampires of all time went by the name of Edgar. He was the first vampire created by the Rapithwin's to survive and thrive after the women discovered that these soul-deficient creatures required the consumption of blood.

Availability: Yes, but only a few more. It will probably be important to determine who in the tribe "made" the new member.

The Mondfarkas are a tribe of Werewolves.

About fifty years ago, during the Great Elf War, there was an attack lead by the dark elves on the hobbit village. Entire families were slaughtered in the middle of the night, by morning the population was devastated, and there was no explanation for why the attack even happened. It was well known that the hobbits and the elves had always been allies, so the attack surprised many.

( The hobbits have been working to reawaken their village and rebuild, they've come far, but they are still a very small community. )

Availability: Yes, but only a few more.

They are quick, relatively strong and can travel great distances. However the mermaids have two faults. They cannot leave the water (because they have no legs, only a fin; though this has changed) and they are dreadfully temperamental creatures, bickering and arguing at the drop of a hat.

The Kouzelheks are a tribe of witches, men and women who can channel magic. Their ancestry is human. Channeling a great deal of magic can take a toll on their minds, particularly the witches who deal in darker magic. They age slower; witches could potentially be immortal if they don't cast their magic gregariously.

Availability: Very open, bearing in mind that men are less powerful than women and the pbs must have red or black hair. The witch's tribe is very large.

The Kantele are a peculiar tribe with an even more peculiar history.

The Jimo are a human tribe living on the island in a protected community.

The faeries of the island are one of the original species of the island. The first faeries were born from flowers, springing alive when they bloomed the first day of the very first spring.

The selkies have been part of the island for centuries now. These seal people, at one time, flourished on the island and were quite happy with their village on Hedland beach.

The Enkeli Everto are also known as the Angelus Demoni. They have been considered by some others to be a dichotomous tribe, as they are both angel and demon, but the Angelus Demoni themselves feel much more fluid about their abilities.

( They were born of four feathers that fell on the island the day of its birth. )

Availability: There cannot be any more full bred Enkeli, but there is endless potential for half-bred Enkeli.

The dwarves have lived and mined in the Endless Mountains all their lives. They lived in enclaves in the side of the mountains that kept them close to their horde of gold in the mines. Greed and jealousy quickly became an issue for the otherwise peaceful tribe. Five hundred years ago, the dwarves broke out in a war. The cost of war was far more devastating than any could have imagined; almost the entire tribe was wiped out and even more devastating, was when the survivors realized that the blood was on their hands. The remaining population of the tribe moved deep into the mountains, ashamed of their actions, but still clutching their greed. They have lived and died inside the mountains and slowly the tribe has continued dying out, until the remaining three decided to step into the light, only very recently.
