Every day, it gets more and more awkward to stay in my room. It's not home anymore.
I think it's about time that classes should start. I'm getting restless all of a sudden; I've been practising more than usual, I bought textbooks, and funnily enough, I've been looking through them all, studying for next semester. I've been spending more and more time in the music building, almost as much as when we have classes. It's starting to get that time when everybody is ready to just go back. At the same time, everybody is sick of each other. I hate that feeling.

hello my name is Jackson Barhiggams.
my major is Violin Performance.
my age/year is 19/sophomore.
i come from York, Pennsylvania.
one. Jackson (don't call him Jack unless you're Claire -- NO ONE else can get away with it) grew up in downtown York, Pennsylvania, a small city that reminded everyone around the area of Stars Hollow. It was a perfect, quaint little town that Jackson basically just wanted to shoot himself in. Everyone was too close, and it creeped him out a bit.
two. When Jackson first came to Allegro, he didn't really know who he could talk to, so he didn't really. Robert came and took him under his wing, so naturally, Jackson followed him around like a little lost puppy.
three. A few days after that, Robert got a girlfriend. Jackson didn't think much of this; in fact, he'd expected it. Robert had a certain wit and charm that Jackson just couldn't match up to. But when he saw Claire Weick for the first time, Jackson felt something that he couldn't ever explain. Somehow, he felt attached to her. He was fascinated by absolutely everything having to do with this girl, and it confused him, but he nevertheless tried to pursue friendship with her.
four. He wanted Claire to know that Jackson was someone she could trust, so he made every effort to be absolute best friends with her. It was easy, being so close to Robert. Every once in a while, it seemed a little third-wheel, and it hurt him to see the two kiss, but it wasn't his job to protect Claire, no matter how much he wanted to. Besides, he didn't think Robert would take that very well, so he stayed on the sidelines, watching the two grow fond of each other.
five. The truth is, Jackson is really too shy to say anything about how he feels. He knows he could tell Claire anything, but he doesn't. More than anything, he just wants to be there for her, so he is. He feels so emotionally attached to her that he can't really do anything else about it.
six. Occasionally, though, Jackson gets extremely frustrated with everything and doesn't know what to take it out on. He has all of this suppressed rage from seeing Claire and Robert together that he often locks himself in a practice room, barely coming out even for food. When he gets in moods like this, all you can hear is the sound of passionate violin and perhaps loud piano -- even enough to rival that Lenny character's.
seven. After getting over these moods, Jackson gets rather depressed and sometimes doesn't even go to class. He feels so exhausted from his outbreak that he just sulks around his dorm room, leaving the light turned off and keeping to himself. Robert, who happens to be his roommate, doesn't ask him why.
eight. Jackson is absolutely in love with art -- specifically modern. He tries to find meaning in everything because he knows there's meaning behind everything.
nine. Jackson likes simplicity. That's how he does everything -- it's never complicated with Jackson. He generally tries to make things easier for everyone else with his kind-spirited heart.
ten. Jackson has decided that he will never stay in Pennsylvania once he graduates from Allegro. Once he has excuses to stay at Allegro or later on when he has concerts, he will never go to visit his parents or family or old friends. He feels like he has made a new home here, and he barely goes back. Jackson is Allegro.
but if you promise not to tell. Jackson often finds himself making mixed tapes for Claire that he never actually gives her. He compiles songs together that remind him of her, and sometimes, he even makes artwork for the cover. They always end up in the trash thirty seconds after he makes the decision to finally give one to her.
