Now in his senior year he stands at a solid 6'1 with broad shoulders and well defined muscles from his yoga routine, hiking, climbing, and quodpot. His personal style is all about comfort. He likes loose fitting clothes in earthy tones. He has his ears pierced once and is often seen running around without his shirt on. He's ridiculously patient and he can take quite a few hits without exploding, he's never had a tantrum in his life. He's very intelligent and hard working. Apple is insanely flexible as he has been practicing yoga all his life. Weaknesses: He sometimes can't help himself and gets involved in things he really shouldn't be getting involved in. He's defiant toward authority figures and often spends a lot of time in detention. He doesn't know when enough is enough. Detailed personality: Apple is a bit of a goober. He doesn't take anything but his school work seriously and he loves to just chill with his friends and smoke. He doesn't try too hard to function in his every day life. He's a good kid with boundless energy, a bit of an adrenaline junkie really. He'll dive into anything head first. He loves being outside and adventuring, there's nothing that will stop him from that. The only things that really calm him down are meditation, yoga, and weed. When it does come to his school work and research though, Apple is very serious and contemplative. He's endlessly patient and has never lost his temper. He makes for an ideal teacher and often offers yoga classes to his friends and other students. He loves to research things and spends a fair amount of time laying in the green just reading. Apple is not the kind of person who sits around and waits for something to happen. He believes in his causes fiercely and fights for them. Apple was raised to never give up the good fight. He is sometimes more than defiant to authority figures if he doesn't agree with them or believes that they are corrupt. It's not that far of a stretch to say he believes in conspiracy theories more often than not. He has landed in detention several times because he will refuse to do an assignment or because he will fight with a teacher about why something isn't right. Personal History Juniper Williams was born nine months after her two young parents met in 1965 at Woodstock. Although unexpected she was loved and welcomed into the world by both parents. Her mother, Jennifer, was a trained witch who dropped out of Blue Ridge when she was seventeen to run off to join a commune in California and have her baby. Her father, Benjamin, the son of Korean immigrants, was born and raised in California. As a teenager he adopted pagan beliefs and started practicing on his own. He joined the same commune that Jennifer did. Junpier was raised by the entire community and spent a lot of time running around with the other children of the commune and learning magic from her mother and traditional pagan rituals from her father. She was never officially trained in magic but learned everything that her mother and father taught her. She left the commune when she was eighteen to experience new things. She met a young math student from Berkley named Michael Evans. Michael Evans's family has a rather long history of mobility. His father's side immigrated from Jordan to England and then to America after WWII while his mother's side hails from a long line of Blackfoot Native Americans. Michael lived a pretty normal life until he met a strange girl named Juniper when he was a freshman at Kent State. He was the polar opposite of the ethereal flower child but there was nothing that could stop them from being together, not even Michael's family. They eloped when they were twenty two and moved around for a few years until they decided to settle in a small commune in the Bohemian community of Ashville, North Carolina where they could raise a family. They had their first child, a girl named River in 1986. Along with the birth of their daughter came a secret Juniper had been keeping the whole time… she was a witch and she was almost positive that her gift would be passed on to their children. Michael took it all in stride and came to accept that he would have to eventually bring his children wand shopping. Juniper and Michael had three more children, two boys and a girl; Forrest, Apple, and Blue. All four children did indeed inherit their mother's magic. Juniper and Michael thought it would be best to send all the children to Blue Ridge when they were old enough. River graduated and runs an aromatherapy and wiccan shop in downtown Ashville with her partner Jones. She and Jones have a one year old daughter named Prudence and Apple adores her. He is an excellent uncle and often takes Pru on Saturdays and brings her around downtown. He's really good with kids but he gets pretty embarrassed when anybody mentions it. Apple Dragonfly Evans, the third child of Juniper and Michael was the more quiet and contemplative of his siblings as a child. He had an interesting childhood full of travels and strange tales. When he was thirteen he threatened his parents that he would run away from home because of a little argument they had which resulted in his being grounded. Being accused of idle threats, Apple took his life savings and ran away to his grandmother's commune in California. He stayed with her for an entire week, sulking, about how unfair everything was until his grandmother threatened to take him on a visit to see her friends at the nudist colony. He went straight home and talked about his issues with his family. Apple hadn't initially been excited about playing typical sports like his brother Forrest, but he had never missed a quodpot match in his life. One night Forrest convinced Apple to get on a broom and give it a try. After his initial freak out, Apple found that he really enjoyed the sport and started playing. He and his brother played on the Roanoke team together for a few years, he continues to play for Roanoke while his brother now plays on the University team. He took up Tae Kwon Do and Tai Chi because of the contemplative nature of martial arts. He also does yoga, his mother (who teaches yoga classes to muggles on the weekend) taught Apple everything he knows. He practices yoga every morning outside before classes start and he tries to at least stretch before he goes to bed at night. Apple is into extreme outdoor sports like kayaking, rock climbing, and bungee jumping. He is a thrill seeker and an adrenaline junkie despite his ability to be peaceful and serene. During his years at BR he quickly rose to the top of his classes and took an interest in music and the environmental club. He picked up several instruments including the ukulele, violin, harmonica, and guitar. He would love to add other instruments to this collection and plans on teaching himself viola in the next year. His freshman year was spent going on hiking trips, organizing hydroponic gardens so the school could have fresh vegetables, and reading as much as possible. He loves being at school and looks forward to moving on with his education and taking more advanced classes in the future. Sophomore year was a bit of a trip for Apple. He started dating his former girlfriend Janis and jammed out a lot with all his buds. During parents weekend his mother went missing along with some of the other student's parents. They found her and several other parents about three weeks later, they were not unharmed but they were still alive. It's taken some time to recover but the family has come together to work through it. In his junior year he and his girlfriend broke up but aside from that, things were pretty uneventful. He plans on moving to the University next year to study herbology and magical botany so he can hopefully start his own gardening business when he graduates but he's always open to other options. | ||||||||
