[Drystan] So...do you think it would be possible for you to be around on Tuesday? If not, it's completely fine. I just--I have a feeling I'm going to need moral support to get through the day. [/Drystan]

I think that I might try to pen a novel for my next endeavor. <s>I'm not feeling like knitting right now--not</s> I'm in need of a challenge.

I know I usually don't write about any of the commissions I receive, but this one was just too cute to not say something about! I had a bloke approach me via owl a few weeks back, asking if it was possible to make a flower out of yarn. Naturally, the answer was yes. So he asked me if I could make one and charm it to be waterproof, etc etc. He sent me a photo of what he did. He put the flower in a vase with 11 other roses with a note that said 'I'll love you until the last flower dies.' How adorable is that???

Coincidentally, I ended up making myself a bouquet of crochet flowers, just to spruce up the kitchen table...give Stephen something to gurgle at during breakfast.

The book sales have been amazing! I have to say that I wasn't sure what the response would be when I set out on writing it, but I'm rather pleased at the number of copies sold so far. They're also discussing selling the books in stores in France!

I feel so disconnected from my old friends and classmates--it's been nearly four years since we've finished school, you lot! I think there needs to be some sort of reunion or oh maybe a dinner! <s>I know Wesley would have loved the idea of a</s> I can cook, or--I don't know!

would stop to hold their heads heavy; oily marks appear on walls

Personality and History: Bailey grew up in quite a happy household. She distinctly remembers becoming the middle child, her sister Penelope being born when she was four years old. But despite that transition in her life, things were always simple for Bailey. Each summer she spent a week with her grandmum Fawcett in the northern part of England, and she taught her how to knit and sew. She loved watching all of the tricky things her gran would do with magic (and to be honest, she was a bit jealous that she had to knit the muggle way until she got old enough).

School was a blur for Bailey. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, which was very exciting for her. Her closest friend and cousin, Isobel Egg, was her roommate that way! She dated a few different blokes, but it wasn't until she was finished with school that she started to date Wesley Cornfoot, a Gryffindor two years older than her. The two were quite happy building their life together. Wesley bought a home for them on the Isle of Man, his job at the Ministry in the Gaming department and the savings from his childhood taking care of most of the cost. Bailey worked as a waitress at a diner close to their house, working on different patterns and techniques for magical knitting on the side.

Last March, Wesley came down with the virus, just as Bailey found out she was pregnant. The joy of the news was muted significantly by the illness. Wesley passed away only a month after entering the hospital, leaving Bailey to take care of herself and their unborn child. She still works at the diner, although her first book, I'll Purl a Spell on You is due to release in mid-December.

where pleasure moments hung before the takeover

Hufflepuff Cancer: Hufflepuff Cancers are oriented first and foremost to the home and to all things domestic. The ultimate homebodies of the magical world, they are at their happiest when they are puttering in the kitchen, stirring up food in magical cauldrons or whipping up soothing, healing potions. These wizards desperately need to be needed. If cut off from family, a circle of close friends, or a flock of wounded birds to tend, they will get anxious and depressed, unless their energies are directed somehow to a cause or a person which finds them good use. They are caring and compassionate, and are excellent listeners.

the sweeping insensitivity of this still life, you don't care a bit

PB: Lizzy Caplan
Player: Laura
Song: "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap
Disclaimer: Not real. I do not own Harry Potter or any other copyrighted characters. I do not own Stephen Cornfoot, but the characterization of his mummy is of my own making. I'm also not Lizzy Caplan, though I do adore her quite a lot.

newspaper word cut outs speak no feeling
