It WAS cos like it's TRUE, they've been through EVERYTHING together and it's SO good that when it really matters they can be THERE for each other despite all the shit! I LOVE THEM, I REALLY DO. And I mean for all the melodrama and bullshit of this show, I think it does a really amazing job of portraying what it's like to have friends in high school, much better than most ostensibly better shows do.
