Iris stood in the small room in the church and looked at herself in the full length mirror. The dress was exquisite and absolutely beautiful. Today was /the/ day and in an hour or so she would be a married woman.
The relationship with Varon had been strange to say the least, but they worked as a couple. He had made her the happiest girl in the world when he asked her to marry him. She said yes without hesitation and a second later she was starting to plan the wedding.

The wind created by her passing kicked up leaves and litter left in the streets of Gotham. Impulse had arrived in Gotham. She had been making it a point to familiarize herself with a few cities. It never ever hurt to know your way around.
She wasn't here to fight bad guys or anything else outside of getting to know the lay of the city. Gotham was the home of the bat-clan and she wasn't going to step on any toes by fighting bad guys. It was rude to enter another hero's city and beat up their bad guys.
Iris slowed to a walk and took a moment to take in the scenery.

Abilities:
Speed Force Conduit: . Speed Force is a vaguely defined extra-dimensional energy force from which most superspeed-powered heroes draw their powers. The Speed Force serves as the ultimate measure of velocity in the DCU. They are often referred to in terms of barriers: Sound barrier, Light barrier, Time Barrier, Dimensional Barrier, and finally the Speed Force Barrier. Iris is said to be a living conduit of the force and has potential of mastering it at a level that rivals that of her father. While being mind-controlled by Queen Bee, Iris exhibited the power of forming "cocoons" of Speed Forces, bubbles in which she could control speed and time, freezing her targets or hastening their metabolism to death. Moreover, she repaired the weakening connection to the Speed Force crippling Wally.
Superhuman Speed: . At first, Iris could only manifest her ability by being able to vibrate her molecules through solid objects. After the events of Rebirth, she is now capable of traditional super speed and can move at high velocities but still not as fast as her father because of her young age.
Phasing: . Before gaining real super-speed, this was Iris' primary ability. Being able to vibrate her molecules at just the right frequency in order to become intangible and pass through solid objects.
Speed Force Aura: . Like most speedsters, Iris has an invisible aura that protects her and anyone who is running with her or carried by her, from the effects of using her speed. This includes friction and airborne particulate matter. She can also sync her Speed Force aura with her father's, causing her to fly behind Wally when Wally thinks of her. This power also works in reverse, allowing Iris to summon Wally.
Weaknesses and Flaws: Iris tends to be impulsive and quick to action, not really thinking things through. This tends to get her into trouble more often than not. She has a very high metabolism and needs to eat large quantities of food to keep her energy levels up.

History:
Iris and Jai West were born to Wally and Linda West. The two kids grew up in the superhero life and around the kids of other superheroes. The twins came into their abilities early and eventually joined their dad Wally in adventures. When Jai took the name Kid Flash Iris took the name Impulse.
Steven Garrick brought her into the JSA and since then she's been serving with the team. Occasionally she goes on solo adventures, but for the most part she stays with the JSA. Iris is in her first year of college, but has not decided on a major yet.

What do you want to see happen with this character? - I would like to see her come into her own as a superhero and uphold the tradition of the Flashes.
