[FRIENDS & FAMILY] I want to thank you all for your great concern; for those of you have not heard, Rachel and Danielle Rookwood were attacked two days ~~two days by some---~~ in the Rookwood home by dark magic and are currently in St. Mungo's undergoing treatment. Both are in stable condition but still very tired and groggy ~~Rachel could barely talk to me it was---~~ I---don't know what else to say from there, I know what the healers tell me and it's not very much. [WARDS]

[BERTRAM & MARY] I know we have the arranged schedule of when we're to have Amissa and Michael, but I hope you can understand if we must miss a few -- days. As soon as Rachel is feeling up to it visitations would be most welcome. [/BERTRAM & MARY]

It's our last night in Egypt before we have to deal with portkeys and all that nonsense tomorrow night...hopefully the last morning will be as lovely as the past week's have been.

Obviously, I am not using the camera here. This was after the ceremony waiting for our late portkey.

Back to the real world on Monday, I have been missing Michael terribly, that's the only thing.

Am I supposed to do an introductory sort of entry with this journal, or is it automatically known who's writing this? I haven't had a chance to really read up on it, but they've been pestering me at work to get one, so--here I am.

I got a bigger desk today. Accomplishment of the month, I suppose. Right by the window, too, it does wonders for my eyes because the offices here have always been rather dark. Hopefully the autumn weather remains as nice as it has been.

Hm. I'm not sure I've figured out the appeal of these things, just yet. All I've managed to encounter were tiresome annoyances.
