He was always running around, talking to everyone he could, constantly asking questions and generally being an inquisitive creature. As a child he was always giggling over something and as he grew up that facet of his personality didn’t change that much, merely calmed down somewhat.

A true ‘boy next door,’ Jack is genial and kind, willing to help anyone he can to the best of his ability, as long as it doesn’t require him doing something bad or illegal in the process. He is one of the few rare people in the world that accepts just about everyone and anything. He can often be found in a small, or large, group of people, talking and chatting about inconsequential things. He doesn’t like to let life pass him buy and so when he has the chance to do something new and different he takes it without a second though, something that often gets him into trouble with the teachers and occasionally the other students.

Jack is determined, and very stubborn. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants when he sets his mind at something, but will never be mean about it. He is a bit of a flirt and sometime this will get him into trouble when he says something out of line, but he never means any harm. However, at the same time he will not string people along, staying with one person, until the time he breaks up with them and after a few weeks move on to someone else.

He is an idealist, believing in the best of everyone and of the firm belief that everyone deserves a second chance, regardless of why they might need one in the first place. He thinks that if people need too, they can change and that most will if something calls for the change. He is also rather arrogant to offset the rest of his personality but only when it comes to his looks and most of the time he acts more so than usual for gags.

HISTORY: Family; Nancy Smart and Joseph Sloper met late one night at a Starbucks in the middle of Downtown London. Both of them were English majors at Oxford University and had a few classes together but had never really began to talk to each other. Joseph came from the muggle equivalent of a pureblooded family and Nancy came from a poor family from the East Side of London. She was at Oxford on a scholarship, and he was there because his entire family had gone since the school had opened. The two of them began to talk and it really was a Cinderella story as soon enough the two of them fell in love and married, despite Joseph’s parents dislike of Nancy, however they loved their son and let it pass.

Pre-Hogwarts; Jack was born on a humid eighth of June. He grew up on the outskirts of London in a small three bedroom house with a large backyard. Both of his parents loved him very much and doted on him, even to the point of spoiling him sometimes. His father worked as a lab assistant at a local pharmaceutical company, and his mother worked as a teacher meaning that from a young age Jack had to go to Preschool, followed by Kindergarten and then Primary. However, whenever his parents were home they doted on him, playing games with him, running around or something else of the sorts. The weekends were reserved for trips to the countryside to a small cottage his mother had inherited from her parents. They spent the time there hiking, running around and generally spending time together as much as they could.

When he began Primary it was soon obvious that even though Jack was a cheerful, bright eyed boy, making friends with everyone he could, there was still a small darker side to him. He possessed a slight temper, even though it took quite a lot for it to come to the forefront, and even then they were mild outbursts. When he was eight a boy had been pushing him around for most of the morning, calling him names and generally making fun of his parents. Eventually Jack got sick and tired of it and pushed the other boy back, hard. The other boy was sent sprawling backwards and tripped over a chair, falling to the ground. A split second of silence before the other boy was crying and the teacher was there, demanding what had happened.

Jack, who had felt guilty as soon as he had pushed the other boy, confessed that he had pushed the other boy. The teacher knew that he wasn’t like this, and as a result gave both of them a time out in the corner. For Jack this was almost a traumatic event, he was unable to comprehend that he had made someone else cry. His parents hadn’t been angry, or disappointed, but they knew that Jack was. The two of them sat down and explained to him that they weren’t disappointed, and that standing up for yourself was alright, but it was better to use words instead of actions. Jack after a moment’s consideration agreed and the event, although not forgotten, was pushed aside to allow him to move forward.

The next few years of his schooling were went boy smoothly. He made sure to keep a wide berth from that boy and his friends, especially when they tired to continue to try to provoke him. He made numerous friends with the other kids, never lacking in a playmate for the afternoon. For his ninth birthday his parents got him Piano lessons and he began to play that, reading music and the like. Although he wasn’t brilliant at it, he could play a few things, but there was no way he would ever be the next Mozart.

His first sign of magic came from when he accidentally caused his homework to burst into flames when he couldn’t get one of the long divisions problems correct. Sadly, neither his parents nor his teachers believed him and they told him to stop making up stories. Small things like this continued to keep happening, and he began to get into trouble, get grounded as his parents increasingly thought that he was beginning to tell lies instead of stories. His parents made him begin to go to a therapist hoping to cure him of his inability, in their minds, to tell the truth. After five sessions, his healer had declared him as a compulsive liar and was hallucinating. She prescribed some drugs and he began to take them.

He changed a bit then, calming down, becoming lethargic due to the pills. He also stopped telling his parents whenever he did something that was in his mind, magical. They began to think that the pills were doing their job and began to reduce the therapy sessions. However, his therapist didn’t believe him and kept him on the drugs. by the time he turned eleven he was on three different kinds of medication, one for ADD, one for his compulsive lying and one for the fact that they thought he was seeing things.

He received an owl that day and his parents thought he had sent the letter himself and as such, he was grounded. However, the letters kept on coming repeatedly until they had to believe that it was part of the truth. However, both of his parents were very much old fashioned and thought that these was some kind of prank. They didn’t believe it until the Headmistress showed up and explained to his parents, along with examples, that this was true. It took some time but they accepted it, took him of off the drugs, out of the therapy sessions and sent him to Hogwarts with some grumbling.

Hogwarts; Jack left for Hogwarts on a warm sunny day on September 1st. Although he met a few people on the train, he was too preoccupied staring out the window at the passing countryside to do anything other than gape. He was excited to be here, and he was excited to see what had in store for him.

Jack was sorted into Gryffindor and it was there he began to make friends. Although he was of off the drugs, he was a bit subdued his first year, a little shy and it weren’t until the second year that he began to open up a little more. He made friends then, as well as getting along with students in the other years as well. He stayed out of school politics, preferring to stay on the neutral side of things, getting along with everyone he could, and staying out of the way the few people he wasn’t able to get along with. He was an average student, needing tutoring in a few things, managing to understand a few things himself and excelling in one or two subjects he found particularly interesting.

He tried out as chaser in his third year and made the team and suddenly it seemed that his entire life was about the game. He wasn’t that good at Quidditch so he dropped from the team so he wouldn’t hurt anyone else and instead focused on cheering and being supportive of it. By the time, his fourth year rolled around Jack had numerous friends and his parents had been used to the idea that their kid was a wizard and so dropped their last reservations about it, and instead focused on supporting the two kids.

In his fourth year Jack kissed one of the girls in his year and then ran away, scared of what her response would be. He all but ignored her for the rest of the year, and when he came back for his fifth year, she had another boyfriend and whatever chance he had had with her was lost. However, as he always does, he took it in stride, congratulating the couple and moving on with only a few backwards, longing glances sent towards his first crush and first kiss.

Mid-way through his fifth year Jack got a note from his parents telling him that his mother was two months pregnant and to expect a new addition to his family during the summer. Although he was a little shocked at first, it soon made way into happiness as he realized he would get to be a big brother. When he returned home for the summer he found his mother toddling around, her belly huge and Jack thought she was going to burst at any moment.

Two days before he was due to leave at Hogwarts again his mother went into labor and fourteen hours later he was holding his baby brother. His parents named the little boy Aaron and Jack took to him easily. Jack didn’t want to leave for school, but he knew he had to. He got his own owl this year and named it Corporation because he thought it sounded like a cool word. He had decided a year or two ago that he was bisexual but not wanting to deal with it decided to wait a bit and he finally told his parents to alright reviews but kept it silent when he came back to school – even though he began to flirt openly with everyone he didn’t announce anything.
