TEN TRUE FACTS AND A SECRET.

FIRST THE WORST: The worst thing about me is that I can be really shallow sometimes. I mean, it won't necessarily prevent me from enjoying your company, but it kills any chance of something more. Like crooked teeth just bother me. And acne is yucky. That's all. It just is. I hate this about myself though. Physical features don't change you as a person, so I'm just dumb.

SECOND THE BEST: I think the best thing about me is how family oriented I am. I'm not even kidding when I say I tell my daddy every single thing. Maybe It's a little strange that I'm closer to my dad than my mom, but he just understands me more. It's always been that way. The only thing we've ever disagreed on is my dating and music tastes. That man deserves the World's #1 Dad mug.

THIRD THE THUNDERBIRD: I started playing piano when I was just a wee tot sitting on my dad's lap. He taught me how to play 'Twinkle, Twinkle' and 'Mary had a Little Lamb' and then go me a beginners piano book for Christmas. Eventually I got into the harder stuff and fell more and more in love with the piano with every piece. As much as I love to play the piano, I find a lot of joy in putting things together more. I love writing things that take you in an unexpected direction and things that have a million things going on. Busy music is good music, I think. That's the beauty of piano, though, you have one thing going on with this hand and the other will take you somewhere else. It is bliss. On the other hand though? I hardly feel like anyone understands my music. It makes me sad, you know? Like everyone forgot what things were all about. I just want to get everyone back to what's good.

FORTH GOES UP NORTH: I'm at Allegro because I want an awesome musical career. Even though I think I could've gotten into Juilliard if I applied, I want to stay instate. Illinois is awesome!

FIFTH GETS A KISS: I've kind of never gotten over that immature adolescence and boy crazy phase most girls go through. It's actually really pathetic and depressing at times. I'm at that place where any boy who gives me attention is the love of my life--that is until they like me back. Then I find something wrong with them that's totally ridiculous and shouldn't matter and makes me really superficial and it's just BAD.

SIX PICKS UP STICKS: So maybe after that you might not think I'm a hard worker, but I really am. Since I was old enough to count right I've been helping in the family insurance business. Actually, it was mostly just filing, but it's an important job if you're a client! Anyway, I know responsibility.

SEVEN GOES TO HEAVEN: I'm a really firm believer in God, (the only beef I have with the man is that you can't hate on people just for who they like. That's nowhere near fair. What happened to God loves all of his children?). I pray every night, and go to church every Sunday. In fact, since I was eight, I've been very involved with the church at home. I sang in the choir, and at 14 I started playing the organ. I was so proud that day. I really like church music. Especially Christian rock. Sometimes I write my own songs. They aren't very good. I'm a crap lyricist as of now, but I'm working on it.

EIGHT GETS A DATE: I guess I want to get married someday but definitely not anytime soon. All the kids getting engaged and such and 18? Totally crazy! They're so young and have so much to live for and so much CHANGE to go through. At 18 you aren't even you. That's what college is such a critical time. Left and right kids are dropping things, switching things because they realize that's not what they want. You shouldn't do that to marriage. Marriage is binding, not some wallpaper you rip out when you get bored of it. Honestly, people.

NINE IS FINE: I grew up in a really patriotic and tight knit town. I guess I reflect it a lot too. Just sort of nostalgic for it all, you know? Especially childhood. Like, for as much as  like getting older, I kind of really wish I could just go back to being five years old again. I still make things up like I did then.

TEN IS A HEN: Food is one of my favorite things in the world. I love to cook and I love to eat. Fatty, greasy, salty, sweet, foreign, sloppy, spicy, tough, chewy, crunchy, I want it! The smell, the taste, the feel, the sight, OH, it is good! It's just that I have the rather large problem of a fear of getting fat. I spend so much of my free time working out, it's ridiculous. But at least I don't have an eating disorder, right? No anorexia or bulimia.

bubblegum bubblegum in a dish: I'm terrified that one day I'll lose it all. Everything will be ruined forever. I just have this feeling that one day it's all just going to fly away: the music, the friends, the happiness, my... life. I'm so afraid it'll come too soon, too.
