Since I've completed my exams and should begin packing, I'd like to thank the professors and all the staff at the school. They have made my time here enjoyable and provided many opportunities. Thank you to the members of the history society, who have made this year memorable; I hope you find parallel or better success next year. I encourage you to try to have a Regius Professor of Modern History give a presentation, though perhaps you prefer a different time period or, hopefully, you will be studying under one of them in the very near future. If you're interested in leading the society, I'm willing to take questions through e-mail as long as they are brief and to the point. We've endured been through quite a lot for formalities. I would also like to thank my schoolmates. Hogwarts has been quite the experience and unfo I suspect it would be many years before I forget this castle, its occupants, and the portraits that seem to move.

Remember there is the last history society meeting of the school year this Wednesday.

I suppose this doesn't matter, but I fully support Ernie Macmillan for president.

Through this network, I've learned more about everyone than I had ever wanted inte thought I would. I wish everyone all the best in his or her future endeavours.

Since the history society won't meet again until after exams, I've decided to help make studying the subject more fun and exciting. )

Despite yesterday's game, we should remember that there's only 24 days until exams. That is a mere 3.5 weeks.

It was a very good game and I think we should've cut our dead weight a rematch if students focused on their examinations as much as they did on the game, we can best Eton in our results. Both sides played wonderfully and I'm glad I participated. A rema

That Mmm-Bop song isn't as horrible as people make it out to be. It was irritiating at first, and I don't understand what they're trying to say. I'm unsure if my opinion is because the song has been playing on the radio so often I'm used to it. I thought the lead singer and the little one would attract a lot of males in later years, but apparently they're all male. One of my brothers told me and has sworn off romantic notions for a year. It's a good thing, even though it came about this way. People need to focus on their studies.

I don't mind participating in the actual dodgeball game itself, but these extra practices seem unnecessary.

Paul Cartledge speaking of Athens was a wonderful way of ending our guests for the history society this year. There are still student presentations, and a final presentation as well as an end-of-the-year party. There will be a brief break for exams, though the room is open during the usual meeting time and students are welcome to study inside.

I've managed to book Marksman's Field for Saturday afternoon. I intended the game of Ultimate Frisbee to just be for Hufflepuffs. However, all students are welcome. It will be boys against girls. Please remember that this is not a contact sport, and sportsmanship is highly valued. That said, I hope you join us in making sure that the boys playing will be artificial turf for a week.

I'm disappointed to hear that several students have run off a few days ago. I hope none of you do that. It's such a shame, because I always thought Hermione Granger was a positive influence on those football players. I don't know if that's a rumour either, and I hope it isn't. I've heard things like them planning to exact revenge, going to Alaska, and running from guilt. It's all rather displeasing, and I hope it's none of those and none of you have considered any of those or plan to do any of those.

I'd like to play frisbee soon, but it would have to be indoors, since students playing frisbee on the football pitch where their former headmaster died would likely make the papers.

I don't know Professor Snape's connection to all this, though I'll admit I was originally dismayed by some of the rumours. I don't know if they were true, but one would assume Headmaster Dumbledore did a background check before placing a man in the position of House Master. I'm sure Professor (Revd?) Slughorn will do a fine job for Slytherin, though it's been a while since I've taken any religious studies courses. But perhaps they need the guidance the most.

Speaking of guidance, please remember to speak to your prefects if you have problems you don't wish to discuss with counsellors.

I've already ordered a wreath for the funeral. I never liked those things because people tend to try to outdo each other when the money could be going into something more productive. However, the one I picked is rather simple and if anyone would like to see a picture, I would be more than happy to show them in person. I don't know who's interested in pitching in money, but any and all would be appreciated. It'll be marked as from the students regardless. I'm more interested in getting something such as a tree or a bench, because although I didn't know him that well, I think he'd appreciate having something given to the school. In the event funds exceed that, I hope to find a suitable charity or maybe more money for the school. That seems unlikely, but I suppose one should plan ahead for these things. I don't know where the funeral is and I don't even know if he has any family. They're saying we don't have classes until next week, which gives us too much time on our hands and it's absurd to be playing frisbee in such an environment. Who's going to be teaching the chemistry classes?

I suppose it was only a matter of time until someone lost an arm. Who sets off fireworks at 11pm on a school night?
