One of Scribbld's virtues is that one can insert videos hosted on many different services into one's posts, instead of being forced to use Youtube, and one can embed the posts in one's text. If one wants to talk about what one has seen and heard, and share a few clips, this is exactly what one is looking for. It's a kind of flexibility that's long overdue.
This is the music journal for the Urban Backpacker's Quarterly, so there is going to very much be a local, Chicago focus on what you see in here, with maybe a little meandering into other topics. It is the successor to a journal I mothballed quickly at another service not to be named, the management for which seemed to have a few problems with Jewish people, and none with Neonaziiism. Strange, one never imagines that such places will exist, much less be managed by corporations as well known and respected as the parent company of that social network, but life has its surprises.
Most of which, I'm happy to say, are better than that one, and a few of which I hope to share with you in the posts to come.
