Familiar: Julian and his brother Eliot each have a
Dogue De Bordeaux puppy, but since they get so big Eliot is keeping both at his house in Bluebell Town. Julian’s is called Lotte.
Sexuality: Straight. Julian is a bit of a lothario and reluctant to end up in a relationship. He adores women though.

Appearance:
PB: Jeremy Kapone
Physical Description: Julian is a strapping 6'1 boy with an average build. He has broad shoulders and toned arms yet follows the rest of his siblings with a rather skinny frame, though the amount Julian eats keeps him from looking sickly. Jules likes to work out and lifts weight every day, though he isn't terribly committed to it, meaning he's had the beginnings of abs and real muscle since junior year, but never got much further.

Julian has a typical French look, with dark eyes, clear skin and a prominent nose framed by a mop of dark, fluffy hair. His hair is often left to do its own thing as it has the remarkable ability (which French people seem in inherit) of looking stylish even when he's just got out of bed. Sometimes it sticks straight up and sometimes it falls in his eyes and it's not unusual for Julian to take his wand to it and cut bits off that annoy him.

Julian has held on to his French accent, often found tutoring pretty girls on the proper pronunciation of words. He also is rarely seen without a cigarette dangling out of his mouth, something that used to get him in trouble constantly. Residing near Paris in his early years and then later in New York, Julian has grown up fairly fashionable, leaning towards hipster tendencies (though he has yet to wear a pair of black framed glasses). He wears whatever his sisters or mother pick out for him. With Eliot being the true fashion-wise child in the family he sometimes takes ques from his big brother, especially if he is planning a date or a gig.

Personality:
Likes: Sweet girls, crazy girls, southern girls, all you can eat, Hunter S Thompson, jamming, the blues, his mother, his siblings, hanging round Eliot’s place until he gets kicked out, being incredibly good looking, Paris, Brittany, Megan Fox, cigarettes, his guitar, ribs, Baltimore, getting drunk and swapping clothes with hot girls, chilling with Tatum, quidditch, Tennessee Williams lying around eating cereal and watching Saturday morning cartoons.
Dislikes: His father, asshole boyfriends, woman beaters, quodpot, French poets, the catacombs under Paris (he has a reoccurring nightmare of being stuck in them), Jason Statham movies, jellyfish, people who assume because he is part of a long line of pure ancestry that he is a muggle hater, his father paying for college, his mother refusing to eat, his grandparents.
Quirks: Slips into French when concentrating or upset, always goes for the ribs in a fight, narrates his own life in his head as if someone is writing a book about him when he becomes massively famous, has a tendency to get naked when drunk.
Secrets: - Terrified his mother is going to leave him like Frankie did. She tried to commit suicide after Frankie died but Eliot found her in time to get her to hospital. She insists she’s fine now with the cocktail of pills she’s been given but what if she forgets to take them one day and jumps off a bridge?
- Lets people believe him and Tatum are going together. After Frankie named her in her suicide note, Julian has had a feeling that perhaps Tatum isn’t as heterosexual as she lets on. They never discuss it, but Julian feels that in not squashing any rumours he might be helping Tatum in some small way. Truth is, she’s practically the closest thing he’s ever had to a girlfriend.
- Was stung by a jellyfish on holiday once and had to get Eliot to pee on his arm. It was a dark day and has never been mentioned since. It didn’t even stop the stinging!
- Has never been in a relationship. When you only have your parents incredibly messed up marriage to go on, a relationship seems like the worst thing in the world. Julian prefers to keep all his girls at arms length (and usually receives a slap for being a bit of a bastard).
Amortentia smells like: Popcorn, new books and chocolate
Strengths: Talented musician, bi-lingual, able to talk his way out of trouble, understands females, public speaking, charismatic,
confident.
Weaknesses: Arrogant, lazy, a bit of a playboy, prone to episodes of depression, overly dramatic.
Detailed personality: Julian is a smooth talking, overly confident boy with an eye for the ladies. Usually found slacking off on front of the TV or taking naps with his puppy, he finds life is much more enjoyable when you take it at your own pace. It just so happens that Julian's pace is so slow its almost backwards and he usually needs a good kick up the ass to do anything. He has a fantastically tragic ability to talk himself out of anything he doesn't feel like doing, and the worst part is his excuses always sound so plausible he hardly ever gets in trouble. When his pride is hurt however, he can slip into deep depression and refuse to get out of bed and like most of his family, tends to be over dramatic about silly little things. He can be quite a high maintenance friend, demanding you make time for him in your schedule, even if all he wants to do is lie on your couch and smoke your cigarettes.Type your cut contents here.

Personal History
At first when Augustus Prideaux took an interest in Florence she was flattered. He was the head of his father’s successful company, very rich and rather handsome. Coming from meager backgrounds, marrying Augustus should have meant a life of comfort but there was his drinking, his womanising and his formidable mother to deal with. Instead of dwelling on the cards she had been dealt, Florence just got on with it, after all this mansion in Versailles was a far cry to the drafty, dirty apartment she had been living in in Paris.

Florence busied herself with starting a family, at only sixteen she fell pregnant and it was a relief to everyone when her first child was a boy. An heir to the Prideaux fortune. Little Eliot was doted upon and practically worshipped by everyone, especially Augustus who would take the little boy into work to “show him the ropes”. Anymore children were deemed unnecessary by the family but seven years later Florence was thrilled to find she was pregnant again. Julian was born without much fanfare and seemingly only a mother who wanted anything to do with him. Florence was a good woman and loved all her children equally, but with Julian it was more of an ‘us against them’ feeling of comradere that she had never got to experience with Eliot, what with his nannies and tutors.

As such, Julian was a momma’s boy through and through. He would see his father at meal times occasionally, when he wasn’t out in other women’s company, but hardly a word was spoken to Julian. Eliot, being seven years older than Jules, took on the role of father figure. He was patient and kind with Julian, something that has never wained as the two got older.

It seemed that since Julian was born, the flood gates opened for Florence and soon she was up to her knees in baby clothes and food and nursery rhymes. A year after Julian, Astrid was born. The first girl of the family hardly ever cried and always seemed to have an expression of fierce concentration on her face. As a little boy with a short attention span, Astrid was the only one who was able to keep Julian still long enough to teach him to read and write, who was much advanced for her years. A year after Astrid the family, however dysfunctional, was complete with the arrival of Francois and Alain, the twins. At three years old Julian was deemed old enough to help out and often spent the days rocking his crying brother and sister, singing to them or giving them their bottles. He loved his new big brother role (Astrid was always more of a big sister) and relished being able to teach the children what Eliot had taught him.

And so the family lived their lives peacefully enough, being home schooled (the magical accidents that occur with five magical children are astronomical) and having their run of the family home. Upheaval came when Julian was eleven years old and Augustus announced quite casually one night that the entire family would be moving to America. He took the stunned silence for a yes and with five children to support Florence had no choice but to follow her husband (he would probably have fought for custody of his favourite, Eliot, and over her dead body would she part with her babies). Once the family was moved to New York, Augustus was keen to implicate the ‘children should be seen and not heard’ rule and found a nice, far away school for Julian to attend (his siblings would eventually flow). The most heartbreaking
part of the upheaval was Augustus’ decision to keep Eliot with him. He was enrolled in a New York wizarding university and the two only only got to see each other during vacation time.

At first, Blue Ridge was a challenge, but Jules managed to get by on his charm and confidence, which only grew the more at home he felt. By his sophomore year he was a popular and well liked student who had found a talent in playing the guitar. Not his only hobby, Julian also set to work on his next favourite thing- girls. He could often be found serenading the girls during music class. By the start of his senior year Julian had decided he was going to be a full-blown rockstar (with the attitude to match) and it wasn’t until a stern talking to from Astrid that he grudgingly applied to do a wizard lit course at Blue Ridge University.

The summer of his senior year would bring tragedy for the whole family. Francois, always a passionate and sensitive girl, took her own life by jumping out of the family apartment window. The note Frankie left cited a lot of things that made her do it. Her absent father, her battle with anorexia but most heartbreakingly, an unrequited teenage crush. Seeing the “culprit” of his sister’s suicide in the halls of Blue Ridge hasn’t been easy, but the two have struck up a tender friendship which has helped both of them recover. Frankie’s twin Alain was his the hardest. A recluse now, he hardly leaves his dorm room no matter what Julian says. However Frankie’s death did inspire some good. Florence finally found the courage to leave Augustus. After a worrying period where she refused to eat and hospitalised she is now doing well living life by herself.  Eliot moved away from New York to Bluebell Town for a fresh start away from Augustus, and Julian often finds himself there during his free time, just hanging out and jamming.

Things are getting better for Julian, though he isn’t fully recovered. With a new appreciation for life, Julian got stuck in to his university course, doing so well that he was allowed back for his second year. Though the memories of Frankie haunt him in the halls, Julian feels at home at the school, especially now his whole family is so close by.
