Last Call [Apr. 15th, 2010|04:07 pm]
Greg slid onto a bar stool and lit a cigarette before grabbing the shot of whiskey that had been waiting for him. Kingston Mines was closed for the night and Greg was enjoying one last drink and a smoke before going back to his apartment. He played here earlier with a band, filling in for their sick drummer at the last moment. Thankfully he had played with the band before so filling in hadn't been difficult.

Music was his life's passion and nothing beat the blues in his book. Chicago was a great city for the blues and it had some of the best blues clubs in the country. Greg knew them all very well and had spent a lot of time in all of them, but Kingston Mines was his favorite. He spent enough time here that they let him stay after they locked the door for the night. He had his last drink and a smoke while the staff cleaned up for the night.

He glanced down at his watch. It was already half past four in the morning. A long draw on his cigarette, savoring the feeling of inhaling the smoke and slowly letting it out, and then he stood up. Time to go home and get some sleep. He had a long night ahead of him. It was the first night of the full moon and he wouldn't get any sleep tonight.

Player (nickname, handle)/ LJ: Stacy
Email: stacyricco@gmail.com
AIM (if you have one): colnicholasfury
Character Name: Gregory Russell Price
Character LJ (if applicable): [info]fullmoonfever
Physical description (face, build, weight): 6’0”, 170 lbs, blue eyes, dark brown hair
Werewolf form: 8'6", 450lbs, dark brown fur

Age: 22
Birthday: Oct 31
PB: (If using one.) Misha Collins

Abilities:
Lycanthropy – Gregory Russell can transform himself into a werewolf, which is a human/wolf hybrid of supernatural origin, through sheer force of will, usually by meditating on the image of a full moon. While in that form, he retains his normal intellect, is capable of speech (with some difficulty), and looks more like the classic werewolf. During a full moon, however, he changes involuntarily and loses his cognitive abilities

In the presence of black magic, his demon blood can be roused, transforming him instantly into the uncontrolled version of the werewolf, and tripling its power, and leading it to be harmed only by silver, invulnerable to all other damage entirely.

- Superhuman Strength - The Werewolf possesses superhuman strength. While in his intermediate form, he is able to lift about 1,500 lbs. His more wolf-like form, during a full moon, is somewhat more powerful and he is capable of lifting at 1 ton. His strength also extends into the muscles of his legs, allowing him to leap, from a crouch, roughly 18 feet into the air. In the uncontrolled state his strength triples and he can lift around 6 tons.
- Superhuman Stamina - The Werewolf's musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human, granting him superhuman levels of stamina. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair him.
- Superhuman Agility -The Werewolf's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.
- Superhuman Reflexes - The Werewolf's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are roughly twice as fast as those of the finest human athlete.
- Superhumanly Acute Senses - The werewolf has superhumanly the acute senses of sight, smell, and hearing similar to those of an actual wolf. He can see part of the infrared spectrum and thus detect the heat signatures of objects or people in total darkness. He can smell other living creatures within 100 feet (when upwind) and follow a scent over nearly any terrain. He can hear the sound of a heartbeat in a cave at a distance of 30 feet.
- Claws and Teeth - The Werewolf's claws and teeth are extremely sharp and tough, enabling him to rend through a variety of substances including fabric, wood, cinderblock, and even some metals.
- Regenerative Healing Factor - The Werewolf is capable of regenerating damaged or destroyed areas of his body with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. Injuries that result in massive tissue damage such as bullet wounds, slashes, punctures, blunt force trauma, and severe burns heal completely, without so much as a scar, in a short amount of time. His ability to heal is at least 10 times that of a human.
- Invulnerability - In the uncontrolled werewolf state, Greg is invulnerable to everything except silver.

Weaknesses and flaws: Vulnerable to hypnotic abilities and more so on the three nights of the full moon. Also vulnerable to silver weapons and silver coated objects.
Character location/Home: Chicago, IL
Alignment (villain, hero etc): Hero
Relatives (living/dead?): Lissa Russell Price (mother), Jack Russell (uncle), Wesley Russell Price (twin brother), Nina Price (sister), Price (father)

Backstory:
Gregory and his identical twin brother Wesley (NPC in Night Shift) were born to Lissa Russell Price a few years after their sister Nina. The three kids grew up with their parents just outside of Los Angeles. They grew up like all wealthy kids did. They went to private school and didn’t want for anything.

Greg loved music since an early age and learned to play the piano, the guitar and the drums. His high school years were spent playing guitar in a garage band. He decided against college in lieu of a career in music. He played various clubs in LA, but his music never really took off. He didn't starve as he has a trust fund to live off of.

Deciding on a fresh start someplace else, he made his way to New York and then eventually Chicago. He managed to find a steady gig playing drums in a jazz club, but his real love lies in Blues music. He lives in a small apartment above the club. He drinks heavily and smokes about a pack in a half a day, but since he has regeneration abilities the cigarettes don’t cause him any damage and it takes a lot of alcohol for him to get drunk.

Greg and his twin have inherited the Russell family curse of lycanthropy along with demon blood from their mother Lissa. Normally a relatively moral young man, if haunted, Greg can transform into the werewolf, and mostly control it, the majority of the time, save on the nights of the full moon. His first transformation was at an early age and both he and his brother have learned to control it save for nights of the full moon.

How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Greg will be living in Chicago and eventually run across the Midnight Sons.

What are you planning to do with this character? Greg is going to struggle with his uncontrolled werewolf state and seek Michelle Clarke’s help with controlling the beast on nights of the fullmoon.

What do you want to see happen with this character?: I would like to see him find a place with the Midnight Sons and do some good.
