BANDWAGON? ALLLLL ABOARD!!
Oh how I hate these things. But I got to second Cella. Answering the bloody questions gets a lot going and helps people figure out their characters. I'd like to at least try and figure out why Naruto does his Naruto thing and answering your requests would do just that.

That, and she had something right. The history/personality/issues of a character are near impossible to fit into an application and when you can't look into the future it makes things a bit difficult. Playing a character makes them grow I guess. Things happen to them which change them completely or moderately. They meet new people. Do new things. Screw Hyuugas. Point being a lot of things have happened to Naruto to turn him into the guy he is now.

So, what this means is by asking me a question, any question, about Naruto I can answer with whatever it is that comes to mind. Stuff that has been implied about him for so long but not actually set in stone. It would also clue anyone into why he's the way he is. What makes him a special snowflake. And will also help me a bit as well. So that I can give a good long moment to think about the why and how and when and where. All that fun stuff that a simple blurb wouldn't cover.

C/P MOMENT with minor adjustments


Ask me any question regarding Naruto. ANYTHING AT ALL. They can be specific questions, or generalized questions. I will answer them all in this post. All the frivolous details included despite the way my fingers doth protest.

The 'no godmode on relationships' thing is the same here. I won't assume anything happened between your character and mine nor will I conjure one up off the top of my head. If my character knows your character and we have a history with them then of course I'll go off that. If mine doesn't then with time he totally will. Naruto is a pretty damn social guy so he's bound to get to you sooner or later. Questions about him in general are entirely appreciated as it would help me.

Needless to say, if you ask in this post "what's his opinion of ___" I will answer based on how much he knows them/has interacted with them. Because of course I don't have ENOUGH stuff to do. NO. NO WAY.

I thought I would give you a moment to shine. ♥

o1. What's wrong with some attention? Well, from the right people... I guess it all depends. I mean he loves having his friends around him when he's acting the fool and yeah it's negative. But it's still on HIM. They can't walk away or be distracted with something else when it's all LET'S BE ANGRY AT NARUTO tiem. He knows that's a bad thing and actually tries to steer away from that as much as possible. If only because after a bit of time he's figured out that negative attention won't keep people around. Instead it will chase them away. That's a big... big no-no.

Then there's good attention. When he puts a smile on their faces or does something that makes them just laugh so fucking loud and that... THAT is the best attention. He will do everything he can to get that. Not that his happiness and go-getter attitude is ONLY for that. It's not at all. Buuut when it all comes down to it he's grown so accustom to fighting for everything he has. Including the few choice moments with the people he holds very close.

However, there's also the attention of people he DOESN'T like. Nor is it negative. He doesn't like a crowd of eyes on him. He'll freeze up faster than anything and will probably just dodge it entirely if he can. His friends are the only crowd he'd do that for because he's not afraid of them.

o2. You know that attention thing? It kind of threads into this as well. Negative is bad. SO VERY BAD. It chases people away and he'd like to think that anyone who has disappeared in his life hadn't done so by his hand. Even though he does blame himself. A lot.

So here's Sakura. Someone he has JUST come back in contact with after not seeing her for so long and not exactly being able to pinpoint when she had vanished from his life. He wants to be so angry at her for going away and he wants to just scream at her to never do it again because fuck he was terrified all by himself. Yet there's nothing there to tell him it was her fault. He can only accept that the letters stopped, she stopped, Sakura vanished. And now she's back. With him. And now it will be alright.

THEN. SHE GOES AND RUINS THE PERFECT by disappearing again. He already went and turned off the anger switch once for her and this time it was so much worse because it wasn't just the fear of losing her. He was actually smart enough to go 'FUCK. SHE COULD BE HURT. OR DEAD. OR STARVING'. The starving one being very important. Food is love, btw.

So when she comes back from her parents as if that's all and doesn't show the tiniest bit of consideration to someone who might have just gave more than enough shit about her to worry it comes down a little hard. He should be so angry right now and I'll give that to him. He so is. He's outright pissed. He doesn't like feeling inferior or small or out of control of any situation.

But... if he yells she might go away again. If he stays angry then nothing will change. So it's better to cool himself off for her and not yell or scream and not act so angry like he really fucking is. He'll forgive her because she's back and safe and that's all that matters. At least to him. He knows he's stupid, but it's a stupidity that has been steadily growing since he was a kid. It can stay put for the moment.

The moment Kiba left and there was no big, bad watchdog by his side. No, really. He had been steadily growing a set the day the first camera flashed in his face. For a little kid he didn't take any shit, but you got to imagine that sort of thing would be scary. It started there and grew to when he'd gone off to high school and met big kids who also didn't take any shit. They caused it, too. There's bad people all around and he was just this kid.

Short. Marked up face. Everyone liked to have a go and he could be as strong on the inside as he wanted. It didn't make it go away. Then there was Kiba. Who for some reason became Naruto's friend. And there was Tenten. Who became his love interest. High school wasn't so bad after that and to be completely honest he became very dependent on the way Kiba stuck up for him. He learned from that, though. How to talk someone down and not be bullied. LIFE EXPERIENCE FTW.

With time Kiba went bye bye and Naruto had to handle that slight dip in his confidence. There was still Tenten and their friendship was so much more important than a crush he had back when he was a kid. I'm not sure the time it happened, but the trigger that got flicked on to turn him from feeble to macho was when Tenten's first timer did her over and ran. Naruto didn't like that.

Time the balls grew to completion: When he hunted down the fucker, knocked on his door, and right when the bastard opened the door he dragged him out into the street and punched him. Many, many times.

... The guy ran and brought back a pipe.

Naruto's balls were still intact when he limped up to Tenny's door all bloody and a knee slightly shattered. Smiling.

Oh. And he did so much worse than that to the guy. You don't fuck with the Uzumaki's herd gdit.

What is there to say that hasn't already been said that hasn't been said already? Tenten is his wittle princess. He holds her closer than most anyone else he knows. She's been there for him from what he thinks is the very beginning. She was also his first love so you got to remember that things get a little complicated when anyone else is entered into the picture. Even though he thinks his heart has given up already and refuses to believe anything else.

Basically... He's got this thing. Where he's protective to the point that it's overbearing and so possessive that he's not really sure if there IS a line to draw between them. They kiss. They touch. They snuggle. All of these things that everyone around them classifies as 'something more'. They've had to fight off the titles so many times and he's not really sure WHY anymore. There's no point in dodging the accusations when there's no room to budge.

How do you tell someone "Yeah, I totally do everything with her except fuck and we're not going steady." It just wouldn't work.

But she's this gorgeous thing that when he has no control over himself [read: drunk] he can't help but feel around with. She does the same thing and for some few inebriated moments there just... them. No title. No questions. It's just Tenten and Naruto being drunk on a couch. Doing what they do.

That aside if you had to ask what Naruto has to say about her beauty... Ahah. He doesn't really pay attention to those sorts of things. He loves the sound of her laughter and her voice. It's a very nice voice. It's never all that bad when she yells because the way her eyebrows twitch is so fucking. CUTE. The sly strand of hair that escaped being pulled behind her ear? That's his hair to reach out for and tuck there instead. These are the things that are beautiful to him.

... Orite. And she has a fabulous body to work it all with, but that's just his penis talking. :|

End point - She's an amazing woman. Someone who taught him all that he knows regarding the species and more. He doesn't ever want to give her up to anyone else because he doubts they can take care of her the right way or as well as he can. He will HATE anyone that tries to enter the happy bubble or tries to break it. Will probably hunt them down if they ever hurt her.

Oh.

And you know that fear thing? Yeah, it goes double for Tenten. Sex is easy. It's VERY easy. Which is why it's also very easy to fuck things up. :( How to put this...

She's tempting. He KNOWS sex would be amazing. The penis wants it. So bad. But the brain and the heart know what is best and refuse to take charge with that sort of situation. As to what Naruto would do if Tenten took charge? I... idek. I can't rightly say he would give in or even turn and hightail it out of there.

It's not so much a memory as it is a recurring dream. He has a lot of dreams that happen over and over and he's simply not willing to find out why like other people would. Maybe they have some meaning, but they intimidate him so much that he doesn't want to divulge himself.

Said dream starts in all dark. There's kids laughing and he can feel himself being dragged. Not a bad drag, but like there's something just beyond that he hasn't reached yet. There are voices around him and he KNOWS they're talking to him directly. The laughing continues. He smiles. He feels everything is alright there.

The there's a camera flash noise and the white light that blinds him and a very lonely feeling.

He usually wakes up then and has that not-too-nice feeling that someone is watching him.

Y'know, though... Despite the horrible waking up moment I don't think he would give that dream up. He'll never think too much on it but he swears it had to have happened at some point and he must've felt that much at peace in his life at one time or another. So it's a 'memory' and something he will hold very dear since it's the only one he has from his 'childhood'. Or at the very least the childhood he has when he dreams.

Ritual... Ritual- Ok got it.

1. Waters plants the night before. When there's no work/school he sleeps in. All day. The plants shouldn't suffer. :(

2. Strips off everything. Well. Sometimes. The air unit in his apartments is tinky so it all depends. But usually it's boxers or nothing. [Or his outfit from the day. Sometimes he's just too tired.]

3. Half-ass brushing of teeth.

4. Glass of milk. Cringing at the fact that he just brushed his teeth. And that's stupid. Cue nightly facepalm.

5. Bed.

6. EVERYTHING IS RUINED BY SOMEONE CALLING HIM AT MIDNIGHT-??

He works at a bar where there's a lot of close interaction. So he showers at night so he's ready during the day. Also he likes water. So he's not going to dodge bath tiem for OMG MANLY REASONS. Ignore Cella.

Bonus: His bathtub is filled with about forty vibrating ducks. He bathes with them.

They had been dating for a month. It was a very dry month. He thought better of it and didn't touch the subject until said 'angel' gave him the heads up that now was the time. After all the chivalry and dancing around the subject he would finally be rewarded.

He just didn't know it would be with black sheets, candle wax... and her twelve inch strap on.

... Does it still count for sexual experience if he ran out of her apartment naked and screaming?

I'm afraid even if Shikamaru smoked a joint, blew the smoke in Naruto's face, and called it tea the dumbass STILL wouldn't put it together. He would just think the asshole was high and talking nonsense.

And then a week later it'll click. Sort of. Soooooooort of... No, that's not it. And then promptly go back to whatever he was doing.

I hate you. I hate you so, so very much.

Generally Naruto thinks Neji is a big, whiny girly man. Or that could be my own personal aggression poking out. Down rage. DOWN.

No, really. When he first met the guy he hated him. There was absolutely nothing attractive about some snobby little shit that was so impressed with fate and not doing anything to make his own destiny that it took everything Naruto had not to butcher him. In the end he used a good 'ol FALCOOOOOOOOOOON PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH and that's that. His patience only lasts for so long. That, and it was a good call. Because the one thing that has never changed is how impressed he was when Neji dropped kicked his family and became someone that Naruto could actually like.

More than like. Adore. Because, though he'll never say it? Neji is cool shit. He's charming and Naruto gets why all the girls flock to him. It's no surprise that he does catwalks and models and does all that other pretty boy stuff. ADMITTEDLY Naruto gets attention, too. But not because of his intelligence or winning wit. He'd rather have that than be known as the cute, dumb blond over yonder that can make a killer martini.

Even though his martinis are indeed delicious.

He's also seen Neji go through things that he himself doesn't... really know if he honestly could. There's never been any horrible family thing for him to go through. He doesn't know how it feels to be tossed aside by people you're blood related to. So for Neji to go through that shows a lot of guts. I think more than anything he earned Naruto's respect that exact moment. It's really the reason he looks at Sakura with such distaste when she can't even tell her parents off for disrespecting her. Their little, squatting old... hnnngh-

BUT THIS ISN'T ABOUT SAKURA. MOVING ALONG.

Sidenote: George Lopez is currently on my telly. There was some gay kissing in the episode before the commercial. I find it hilarious, this timing.

Anywho. I won't go too far into detail because Neji's ego is already so vulnerable atm and whatever I say may or may not break it completely. Long story short Naruto thinks Neji is an awesome guy. He has a sense of humor and is THERE for his friends. People like him and they have good reason to. For what it's worth he might be jealous of people who are actually in Neji's life if he himself weren't already. BUT THAT IS THE ONLY TIME I WILL EVER SAY THAT AND NARUTO WILL NEVER-

So as I was so deeply replying to you... where was I. Oh. So. Let's take a step beyond that shall we~?

In some ways Neji is on the same bar as Tenten when it comes to their levels of friendship. Naruto can tell the guy anything and doesn't need to give him a ring or ask for help because without skipping a beat he will BE there. He will know that something is wrong which is good for Naruto because he's too stupid to say anything in the first damn place. Thus the situation with Sasuke, that lovable skank scamp. He just... knew. And yeah, Naruto will deny it outright, but Neji knows. That's enough. He tried. Despite the crap going on right now he still tried.

And y'know, that means a lot. That they're so awkward right now and can still stick up for one another. Maybe it's just a possessive quality on Naruto's part, but if someone picked a fight with Neji he'd be there in an instant to wipe the floor with them. The whole situation aside, not that I won't touch on that because I know how much you love it, Naruto is so happy having Neji in his life. Neji doesn't ask for anything in return. They're alike in that way and he really can't help but enjoy the fact that someone is around to splurge him without him needing to ask or hint.
