So I'll assume by now that most of you have seen his latest the most recent homophobic rant to hit the school. This has to stop before somebody gets hurt, hurts them self or worse. It's time we step things up and get back on track. We had a lot of good ideas brought forward and I think it's important that we follow through on them. His posts and any others like them need to be brought to the attention of the faculty if nothing else.
I'm all for freedom of speech but the school does have rules against discrimination and harassment does it not? Those responsible for the comments need to be held accountable for there actions otherwise they'll continue and things will surely escalate.
Something tragic shouldn't have to happen for us to take action. |
