You want LJLogin to work on Scribbld? I'll show you how. First off, this is for Firefox users only and you need to already have the LJLogin extension installed for this to work.

Also, I would like to give heaps of props to karma_apple on IJ for not only reminding me that this was possible, but for also providing the basic steps in this guide that I have yanked entirely because...well, why rewrite them when they are the EXACT same instructions? SO! Onto the installation.

1) Locate your profile folder:

Windows Vista/XP/2000

C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
or
C:\users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

Windows 95/98/Me

C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\

Linux

~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxxx.default/

Mac OS X

~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/xxxxxxxx.default/

2) Locate your LJ-Login folder:

default folder --> extensions --> {ad4ee9e5-49c7-4589-acf3-db9fa76a95c9} --> chrome

Note: In bold, yes that is the file folder name you want. It is the same for everyone.

3) Replace ljlogin.jar

Download: ljlogin.jar and replace the file in your chrome folder with that one.

What did I change?

original karma_apple edits to .jar file: Added new site schemes for IJ to LJcode-sites file. If you would like to see what was edited specifically, see this post.

additional vanya_elda edits to .jar file: Edited LJcode-sites.js and ljlogin.css in the content folder order for the extension to be compatible with Scribbld. Each required additional Scribbld specific sections or lines. I also added a file to icons folder (the default LJ buddy image) so there will be an icon in your Firefox bar when the Scribbld extension is in use.

4) Restart Firefox

5) Set your site cookie
-- Right click lj-login and go to preferences
-- Select Scribbld, scroll down and set your default settings for your login. You can set the sitescheme for each username here. Which is good news for those of you who wish to keep using the Blue White or Opal Cat schemes over the new Scribbld scheme.
-- Done!
