I swear that one day this journal will be used for something other than poor decisions and Quidditch.

Today, however, is not that day - and I am planning to use it for both.

A little dragon told me that a certain Quidditch team is having a match on Wednesday! Now, I understand that these games are just a formality to make the rest of the world feel like anyone but Scotland is going to win this year, but I thought it still might be fun to have a little get-together in the interests of socialization! Tiree is nice even this time of the year, so long as you get a good warming charm going about the waves. See?

Consider this an invite to anyone who's had more than a passing acquaintance with me in the past few years. There's plenty of room in the rickety shack I live in to pass out on the floor.

[ 'PUFFS] By now I trust that most of you have heard about the tragedy that has fallen upon our dear and sweet Gleny and her extended family.

I for one am not going to sit idly on my arse while Gleny cries, never mind Fabian and Gideon's poor sister. I think we all know what we need to do here.

Everyone who doesn't do something nice, at least, will get a gold-handed beat down. I'm just putting that out there now. [ 'PUFFS]

So, they finally let me out of St. Mungo's.

I don't have to sneak my journal anymore - I just have to deal with mum trying to smother me with affection. I almost miss the stale hospital toast.

Finally got a new one of these things for Christmas ... so of course I'm only starting to use it now.

The last one got burnt up with some of my other belongings during a particularly difficult chase in September or so, for those of you keeping track.

History: The MacFusty clan has been steadily taking care of the Hebridean Black dragons for several generations. Although the clan is composed of several families, each respective family unit is responsible for a small-to-medium sized group of dragons that frequent the areas around their homes. Marissa herself has been involved with the caretaking process since she was quite young and considers herself somewhat of an expert in the area. She is especially fond of the egg-hatching process and makes a point to have her mother document many of the births for records and for the sake of self-interest. Marissa has a certain amount of bitterness for her overachieving brother and her finnicky and spoiled sister, but makes a good attempt to be civil to both of them.
