[22 Jul 2008|09:43pm] So, people have been asking me lately, "Gilderoy? What is it like to be the world's best selling Wizard author?" Well, I don't...really think there's a way to answer that. Except for fantastic, of course! Haha! How else would it feel to be so popular and wonderful? Honestly, I find it sad that people have to ask, but I don't blame them for living vicariously through me. I am quite fascinating! Oh! And despite the rumors you may have heard floating around out there, my new book will not be published until late next year. Perfection takes time, sweethearts! Unless of course you're me, and then it comes so naturally! Haha! No, no, but honestly, I do need to finish my work, and have new pictures taken for the back. I'm stuck between winking or running my hands through my hair for the new photo... Any suggestions, ladies? Or, you know, gents if that's the way you swing! oo1 [03 Apr 2008|12:03am] [ mood | cheerful ] Hello, wizarding world! I know, it has been such a long time since I've written in this thing, but I am busy, you know! Can't pull myself away from the evils of the world to make regular updates, now can I? Anyway, I have so much to tell all of you! For starters, I am going on tour! Yes, yes, you've read that correctly! A book signing tour for all of my fans, all over Europe! It's sponsored by the lovely folks at Flourish and Blotts, a fabulous bookstore where you can buy any one of my books 10% off, April 8th through the 22nd! I get paid every time I say that! Isn't that brilliant? Haha! I love how advertising works! The tour starts next Saturday, and lasts until the 19th. I will be making stops in London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Lucerne, and Paris, but the specific dates for each are not yet known. But this is still so exciting! I really do need to remember to thank the people at Flourish and Blotts, a fabulous bookstore where you can buy any one of my books 10% off, April 8th through the 22nd! PAID AGAIN! I love it! What else, what else... Huh. I suppose that was it! I would tell you all about my travels, and the dangerous creatures I've encountered, but then what would I have to write about in my next book?
