Summer Time!
Hello fellow journalers!
It's that time of the year again, we're offering up 10 Permanent Accounts for $100 each. You can view this page for more information on what you can get from a permanent account. All proceeds will go into the server payments and hardware.
In the coming weeks we're looking to do a code upgrade which will bring us to newer, more secure, and hopefully a quicker code-base. We expecting things to break so give us a couple days to iron things out and get things back to normal should things go funky.
Other than that we don't have much else. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer (USA). It's roasting hot down here in TX but decent back home in VT. Wherever you are we hope you're staying safe and having fun!

Mind-Blast.net is an RPG forum that caters for several different RPG Games at once. The idea of the forum is an emphasis on the roleplay itself rather than all the OOC bits and bobs. Members only need to apply to join the board itself rather than each individual game. Once their application has been approved they are free to join any game hosted here. It is then up to the members to create a character, post a character profile and following the rules of each game. There are no set timelines in the games, and members are catergorised 'Roleplay Grades' which show other members how many times they are able to post each week. This is so that RPers can roleplay at a pace that suits them with others that post at a similar pace. In other words; roleplay how you want to. This doesn't mean that there are no rules or guidelines here at Mind-Blast.net. The normal no powerplaying, god modding and other roleplaying ettiquette rules exist, and we maintain an intermediate to advanced level of writing. This means that Mind-Blast.net is not suitable for beginners. There will be a moderator per game to oversee the game, but otherwise the game is in the hands of the players themselves. Currently there are three active games at M-B.net and more will be added in the future. Members can petition to have a Game added to M-B.net at any time. One thing you will come to notice about the Games here; they always feature original characters. Even if a game is set in a fandom universe canon characters are not accepted. Dark Pretenses is an old game of mine that has reopened here on M-B.net. It is a supernatural/urban fantasy game set in the University of Reading, UK, and features original species and ideas. Celestial Illusions is an game based in the Anita Blake universe created by Laurell K Hamilton, featuring original characters and plot. Stonehythe is an epic fantasy game based in land seperated by war and past grudges. |

Happy Spring!
Hello all!
We hope you're all well and enjoying the nicer weather...down here in TX we're been having some great weather, however back home in VT it snowed yesterday and was 34F, so I guess it all depends where you reside! We've been working on developing a script which notifies you when your paid account is about to expire. If you've purchased a paid account within the last month you've been added to this script. You can also search your account to see when it's about to expire.

We're looking to add a second web server into the mix at some point in the upcoming months. Other then that we don't have much else to report.

Hello all!
First off, apologies to the people who bought paid accounts in the last couple weeks. We were not watching the email account which PayPal notifies us about purchases. We've gone through all the emails and setup the paid accounts now, we're definitely sorry about the delay.
We don't have a whole lot in store for 2011, just keep everything running, possibly work on any open bugs and such. While I can't confirm or deny we're working on rename tokens it's certainly in the list of "stuff to get done". We do have a whole bunch of usernames for sale, you can visit http://scribbld.richardwat.com to see the list and how to purchase them.
We hope everyone had a great holiday season and new years! Here's to an awesome 2011!

Happy Halloween!
Hey all!
I was having a look around the code on the site this evening and I noticed we had all those un-used, purged/deleted usernames which no one was using so I thought about trying to get the rename tokens working again. Unfortunately, it's just far to much work to get rename tokens working, so I built a little script which shows you all the current deleted usernames which are available. As before, each username is $4 per name. Just PayPal us the money and we'll generate a new password for the account and email it to you.
For an extremely limited time only the first five people can help me test/debug this by requesting a single username. Just email me (jimmy@scribbld.com) with your one username and we'll test it out!

Once these 5 usernames are gone, it'll be $4 per username.
That said, we hope everyone is well and looking forward to Halloween. It's certainly one of our favorite holidays!
